I was in a Home Depot just before Crhristmas when they started to play a Willie Nelson Christmas song over internal PA system. His singing was so bad that everybody yelled for the store to turn him off or they’ll leave. Willie was nixed immediatly. Just like now – nothing but a bunch of noise.
Instead of throwing ad hominem attacks on Willie Nelson, why don’t we demand to know exactly why, say, a 47-story steel framed skyscraper fell down when no other building before or since has fallen in that manner?
In other words, open your mind and stop attacking people because they have courage to ask questions about events that even the officials and experts cannot fully explain.

Watch a video describing what has to happen to implode a building. You don’t just drop the damn thing. You have to gut them first, pull the cladding off of the columns and take out the intervening walls, etc. Then you run wires all over hell and back, hook them up in precise fashion to timers, then set it off. And hope no one who worked in the place day after day after day noticed all the work going on around them. They don’t call it “dope” for nothing.

According to NIST, there was one primary reason for the building’s failure: In an unusual design, the columns near the visible kinks were carrying exceptionally large loads, roughly 2000 sq. ft. of floor area for each floor. “What our preliminary analysis has shown is that if you take out just one column on one of the lower floors,” Sunder notes, “it could cause a vertical progression of collapse so that the entire section comes down.”
There are two other possible contributing factors still under investigation: First, trusses on the fifth and seventh floors were designed to transfer loads from one set of columns to another. With columns on the south face apparently damaged, high stresses would likely have been communicated to columns on the building’s other faces, thereby exceeding their load-bearing capacities.
Second, a fifth-floor fire burned for up to 7 hours. “There was no firefighting in WTC 7,” Sunder says. Investigators believe the fire was fed by tanks of diesel fuel that many tenants used to run emergency generators. Most tanks throughout the building were fairly small, but a generator on the fifth floor was connected to a large tank in the basement via a pressurized line. Says Sunder: “Our current working hypothesis is that this pressurized line was supplying fuel [to the fire] for a long period of time.”

There are strawmen wild conspiracy theories out there that are easy to debunk.
Impossible to debunk however is the collapse of 3 buildings – one without being hit – AT FREE FALL SPEEDS. Even the ‘pancake theory’ would require some failure time for each floor.
Contrast also the Pentagon where the same type of plane is supposed to have left only a 14 foot hole and a partial roof cave-in.
It seems to me the root of the thoughtless knee-jerk responses is a blind faith in government and a fear of being scorned.
There are so many intelligent reputable people now doubting the official story – it was even debated in the Japanese parliament a couple of weeks ago (search for the video).

Regarding freefall speeds, you are splitting hairs by exaggerating split second differences. For the pancake theory to be true you would have to allow for resistance even pretending that the enormous vertical steel columns could just telescope into themselves. Even if you cut resistance back to one or even a half second per floor that’s half a minute or more.
You have to have blind faith in the state to ignore all the eyewitnesses who were inside the buildings also. There were massive explosions in the base of the building minutes before the collapse with many survivors testimony on video – see 911revisited.com movie or the ‘911 Mysteries’ google video. Many firemen saw and heard this also – on video.
Why not at least familiarize yourselves with your opponents core case before posting?
