I dunno, raising a family of four on $618.00 a month out here in the real world. Where you folks getting the money to do all this crap?! Is this like a selective economic crises or something? Only reason I even have the internet is so the kids can do their schoolwork and have some fun once in awhile. Sh#t, we don’t even rent movies anymore. Had antenna TV till they went digital. Filled out the paperwork for the free box from the government but was told that I was past the deadline. I Spent $200.00 on groceries on Monday, paid the housepayment (that I got reduced when the plant closed so we wouldn’t lose our home (285.00)), Utilities were around $90.00. I put $40.00 worth of gas in the car. I got $2 and some change left for the month. That’s right until November 1st. I’m sorry, I am afraid I will just half to sit this one out. But, you all go on and have a great time. Fricken posers!!

I can’t wait to see what happens. Bachmann is taking on the whole Democrat Party on Capital Hill. Can’t wait to see what the Dems are going to do. I am betting they hide like they did during the March on DC given by the Tea Parties. Everyone should go if they can. We will take on the whole Democrat Party and will tell them what we think.

I voted for McCain Palin if you really like to know! If I could get a handout from the government right now I would. I was collecting unemployment AND working off the books cleaning out grain cars at the elevator just to make half of what I made before building Farm Implements at the plant. The unempoyment ran out in Aug. I listen to Rush, and Glenn and all the Fox pundents. I sure am noit feeling any love from either the dems, or the repubs right now. Right now, I am for free-health care and stimulas checks from the feds. Wouldn’t you be? You ain’t gonna like this, but the way I see it if you got money to go stand on the washington steps on a workday, you can afford more taxes. sorry, but you aren’t walking in my shoes and I’m not feeling guilty about my veiwpoint on this.

I was going to bed but this crap has got me pretty steamed right now. I can’t collect unemplyment unless I go out and actively look for a job. i really don’t have the money for gas to go driving aroun hoping to find a job. I turned a job down because I would have had to drive 70 miles a day or stay where down the constructiom job was at. Can’t do that because I have only one car that runs. Beck, o’reily, hannidy all talk about cherity should be volintary. No people around here are passing out cherity around here. You want stimulus money, saying “If you want to help folks like me, tell the SOBs in DC to get that dang stimulas money out here to the folks in the towns and small cities that lost its only major source of emplyment.”

If you really want out of your troubles, stop believing that a government handout is going to solve your problems. Truth be told, this government has so interfered in this nation’s economy that many cities like yours have lost their major source of employment. Take a look at the most depressed cities in this nation, cities like Detroit, Buffalo, Cleveland…etc. and see who has been running them for the past 25-40 years…the very people who believe handouts and social programs are going to solve our problems. Instead, they create a dependent class who look to the government for more handouts, more stimulus, more health care. And when the stimulus doesn’t come, the dependent class whines and complains that the government doesn’t care.

It’s a shame you’ve become a member of that dependent class which now looks to government to solve his problems. Alas, your attitude has become so widespread in this nation that we will never get out of this mess. Whining and complaining about not getting your stimulus handout will ensure that Detroit will be coming to every city in our land. Self pity never saved anyone!

I’ve been wondering what is the most effective way to deal with people such as Bachman and other irrational folks on the right. Isn’t there some think tank or PR firm that is expert in managing communications with respect to nuts like these. We can complain and ridicule all we want but is it effective? The Daily Show can play video clips of their insane speeches together with earlier speeches contradicting themselves and yet they continue unabated.

It’s seems impossible to have an intelligent debate with these folks as they seem to be working from a different set of facts and even a different English dictionary. Up is down. Left is right. Good is bad. Liberal is evil. Progressive is even more evil. Expanding civil rights is a threat to America. ‘Fair and balanced’ means Democrats get the intense scrutiny while republicans get a pass.

Sometimes I think that the more exposure and air time these nuts get, the better as it allows them to reveal their true insanity. But, there are so many people that swallow that BS. So, I don’t know any more.

She sure seems anti-government for someone who works in the government. Maybe she’s working for free and not taking any of the benefits. Ya think maybe??
