In accordance with Miss USA rules and regulations, thorough research into the past histories of all contestants is now rigidly conducted. The pageant commitee knew of this event including pictures and deemed them non-controversial. All that occurred today was the same information and pictures were made public by a radio station. Case closed.

Miss USA(Rima) was the correct choice, “Trumping” the other contestants in the overall competition. Her racy 2007 photos will be a non-issue. Last year’s Carrie Prejean lost her title not only because of her answer on gay marriage but also because of the risque photos of her that came out afterward in my opinion. And now the scenario with Miss Oklahoma answering a question about Arizona’s immigration law and many think she didn’t win the title because it didn’t satisfy the “liberal” judges judging the competition.

So what’s going to happen? I think Miss Muslim Michigan will retain her crown because of the double standard within the Media. She will probably retain it because she is the first Muslim to ever win a Miss USA contest and because the Obama administration is trying to get all lovey-dovey with the Muslim community (radical or not) and the pageant overseers will take that into account and because the runner up Miss Oklahoma didn’t satisfy the “liberal” judges about her Arizona answer. The judges thought she should have ‘condemned’ Arizona for trying to uphold Federal laws already on the books and the lesser of two evils (in the Miss USA Committee’s mind) is to let Miss Michigan keep her crown even though she pole stripped. And also because she’s a Muslim. Wait and see.
