The best way to fight an accusation that something was taken out of context and misrepresented is to show the whole video so that everyone can see the context. So why haven’t they shown us the entire video and explained how his words were taken out of context? Maybe the intelligence level of their constituents allows them to get away with bogus statements, but the rest of us, who can think for ourselves, see through the BS.
So again, it’s simple. If it was taken out of context, show us the context of the video.

The Obama Administration indicates that we, i.e., the masses, will be able to keep our company provided health care insurance. No one has addressed why a company that pays, say, $3-5 million per year in health insurance for their employees would want to keep offering health care insurance when the government wukk be making it available for “free.” I rather suspect that an accountant or two has already thought of this point. Would someone in the Obama Administration, or in Congress, please address this issue.
If you look at the clips in question, you will see first, Obama declaring that he is absolutely for single-payer (government only) health care. In the later, more recent clip, he assures his audience that we can’t get to that right NOW, but maybe a few years down the line. Yet this reporter seems to think we can’t see and listen for ourselves; we rely on her to tell us what it is that we didn’t actually see and hear.
Her hair is cute. However, if she believes in an afterlife, she should begin fearing for her soul.
It is very clear that Obama said he expects a government option will lead to a single payer government run health care system within a 20 year period…..The fact that Howie did not make her answer that question is another example why no one is watching CNN any more….It was funny when Howie accused the media of all being democrats when there is no bigger closet liberal that Howie himself.

Folks, listen up. The only way we are going to get through to the idiots like Linda, is if to cut off the cash flow into Washington. What will that do you ask. Well, when the tax revenue starts to drop, Democrats ALWAYS raise taxes… And that effects everybody. And when everyone is hurt to some degree, American’s wake up and start voting. And the best way to cut off the cash flow into Washington, is to pay cash for everything you can, and sell what you produce for cash. And use the barter system too. If you are a plumber and your neighbor works at a tire store, Fix his leaky plumbing for a set of new tires. If you need some work done around the house, pay cash for it and keep the “change.” Yeah, I like that… Do you wanna “pay cash” or “pay Obama”? The way I see it, if a few more folks start “paying cash for goods and services” Obama won’t be shoving any more costly reform bills down our throats.
