There should be a running tally of how many promises he has broken so far – he claimed to be “all things to all people” and pretty much has let down both his far left and centrist supporters, not to mention the biggest lie of “no one under $250,000 a year gets a tax raise” – what a laugh! Can I count the ways he lied on that one – health care something like 16 taxes, taxes on eating and other lifestyle products, now even a VAT tax in his signts. Occasionally I make mistakes. I admit it. I’m not perfect. You can call me perfect when I gain the ability to walk on water. However, it seems there are some others who wish to discuss things that they already exhibit not having the first clue of what they are talking about. “Jokeson You” is such an individual. The farmer is the very fundamental basics of existence and has been so since the existence of not only man, but any species to walk the face of this earth using the gatherer portion of the hunter/gatherer methods of survival. Now we have an individual who wants to claim that farmers only exist because some college somewhere taught them how to do it. Most farmers never went to college. They went to the school of hard knocks, one of the roughest teachers there is. They are generations of family farms and the very people we rely upon to feed us. The idea that the college came before the farmer is an exercise of displaying ones total ignorance of far more than just farming.

Where did this poster think the colleges got their information from? Reinventing the wheel? Where did corporate farming businesses come from? Where did he think food comes from, the grocery store?

Those family and corporate farms didn’t start from a school book nor did they become businesses because of a sole desire to sell product. They started with the basics of survival, feeding yourself and your family. As time went on we moved into an industrial age where people simply bought the food and worked into other endeavors.

Farming though is relative to the climate and topography of a given area which means food has to be transported to locales if people are going to eat. As more and more people moved away from farming food was not being produced at a sustainable level. The main reason for this is because farming is exceptionally hard work and requires a dedication that doesn’t know what sleep, holidays, and vacations are. Bosy doesn’t take time off for Christmas and needs to be milked twice a day whether there’s a need for that milk or not. She doesn’t care if you want a vacation. She’s hungry. And unless you want Bosy to develop a disease and die you’d better keep her clean and well cared for. That’s not a welfare check. It’s taking care of our welfare, unless you support the idea of being held hostage to a food supply that mirrors whats going on now with Middle East oil.

When government steps in and regulates anything they corrupt it. Don’t blame farmers for that nor ridicule what they are being held hostage by in laws. I was born and raised on the family farm and I’ve yet to this day to see that independently wealthy farmer. The riches of the farmer are in health, food, family, God, the peace to produce it in, and the land to produce it on, but not at the bank.

Would someone please explain to this “Jokeson You” individual just how Cornell University got all of this information and a lot more? They damn sure didn’t invent it nor discover it and it’s with working in conjunction with farmers that tests can be done to improve outputs of all manner of farming that let Cornell University not only exist, but also those farmers doing the research on their own to give Cornell University the ability to test. Don’t try to tell the farmers nor Cornell that the wheel was invented before the legs.

“Jokeson You” needs to hand out some serious thank you’s. God for allowing it all to happen, the farmer for making it happen, and the soldier for allowing the farmer the peace to make it happen.

He is the kind of leader that we don’t see very often in these days of opinion polls and political correctness. People admire somebody who lays it all out there for everybody to see. Obama has a lot of style but he often says things that are in contradiction with his actions. You get the feeling that Peterson won’t be as deceitful as Obama or even some of his fellow Republicans are.
