Buffet amazes me. He actively supported Obama during the presidential race. I’m a mere mortal (unlike Billionaire Buffet), and I could see this federal power grab coming from a mile away.

H2K, you beat me too it! Even in the last few weeks Buffet has been wildly vascillating between strong support and strong doubt, sometimes within the same week, on the same policy. He’s extremely wealthy but he’s losing something upstairs too.

buffet likes to think that entrepeneurs don’t make decisions based on tax rates. well he might not, but he’s not an entrepeneur. He may invest for the fun of it, but I don’t. As far as him backing Obama and then being surprised by his actions, one must conclude the “Oracle” is not seeing the future very well.

Warren is absolutely right.

“2000 pages of….nonsense” that doesn’t control costs in any way.

“I don;t believe in insuring more people until you attack the cost aspect of this”.

That is EXACTLY what the republicans have been saying. Good for Buffet for stating a logical answer. Solve the cost problem and THEN insure more people. Otherwise, we go further/deeper under water….
