Ya know… there was a time not too long ago, when if one would accuse a liberal Democrat, half tongue in cheek, of being a “socialist” it would have been understood that this was simple hyperbole on the part of the accuser.

Everyone knows that a “socialist” philosophy is completely antithetical to the intentions of our Founding Fathers and runs completely against the very precepts of our beloved Constitution.

To Americans, “socialism” is a very radical thing. Right…? Don’t we ALL know that?

Well maybe not…

Now, it seems as though we’ve defined political deviance down so low, that some might nonchalantly remark, “So the guy is a socialist. What’s the big deal?” People don’t seem to be as alarmed as they should be by this; and it is NOT a good thing.

I think that it is quite difficult to deny that Barry Obama is a socialist, yet some people still do deny it apparently.

But what is much more alarming, as Victoria Jackson very understandably points out, is the likelihood that the guy in the White House is in reality an avowed, dyed in the wool, real life Marxist.

His background, his associations (and their associations), his appointments, save a few while in office (and their associations), his explicit statements on numerous occasions regarding the REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH, and of course let us not ignore the actual policy decisions he has made since taking office; not the least of which being SOCIALIZED MEDICINE, for goodness sake… all point to the president being a serious RADICAL, as some of us people knew long before the ‘08 presidential election.

It is NOT a far stretch of the imagination to realize that the President is a real life Marxist. Are enough of us paying attention?

Our new president and his administration, with the help of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, are aggressively replacing our republican form of government with a marxist dictatorship. And what are we doing about it? We are just standing here inert like a deer caught in the headlights, unwilling to come to grips with what is happening.

If we had been militarily attacked by a foreign country we would be willing to fight for our freedoms and our way of life. But this attack did not involve bombs and missiles and machine guns. It is an attack led by a man who was elected as our president. That is making it virtually impossible for us to come to grips with the fact that our government is being taken over by a revolutionary group who are going to change everything about America including our economic strength and vitality, our personal freedoms, our position of world leadership, our institutions, our standard of living. Everything.

All we are doing is standing around sipping tea and pissing on the ashes and hoping that this national nightmare will just go away somehow. Well that is not going to go away unless we make it go away.
