We have Conscientious Objector laws in our military. Why wasn’t this man accepted in that category and released from service or at least prevented from the religious-military conflict that he was dealing with? As a military soldier he complained against fighting arabs. He should have been removed from the service immediately as a Conscientious Objector or given jobs not in conflict with his religion that would still enable him to serve our military in some capacity. Where was the intelligence in his superiors? Didn’t they KNOW they were putting a PSYCHIATRIST in the responsibility of helping our fighting soldiers who was HIMSELF conflicted and non-supportive of the very fighting those soldiers were going to do?? Our MILITARY “LEADERS” have the responsibility to PROTECT our troops and to oversee ALL agencies and personnel provided to SUPPORT and ASSIST our soldiers. Looks like they will deflect the issue of their failed responsibility in this, because they can. The superiors over this man should be kicked out of our military because they are not doing their jobs.

Too many Americans (mostly on the left) don’t seem to realize we are at war with Islamic extremists. What is it going to take for them to wake up? Hasan had a history of making anti-American/pro-Islamist remarks around his superiors. Political correctness will be the end of this great nation.
