‘Vanity Fair’ Releases Behind the Scenes Footage from Controversial Miley Cyrus Photo Shoot

While Miley Cyrus and her parents are taking issue with a scantily clad photo of the starlet by Annie Leibovitz, the magazine has posted footage on YouTube of the star and her parents looking relaxed and carefree at the shoot.

The photo’s of father and daughter look creepy.
The intention of the shoot seems to be to sexualize the images of them together.
As for their complaints, they didn’t do much of it at the time.

Her parents seem to be unfit. This is child abuse and similar to the cult in Texas abusing their underage children. This is very sad for this child and for our country to use people like this as role models.

Mike   April 28th, 2008 - 5:36 pm

I agree with Kevin’s comment. Obviously they love each other, but looked to me like more than father daughter love.

Dave   April 28th, 2008 - 6:10 pm

That’s just wrong!! I don’t even hold my wife like that! Her dad has pimped her out to keep the cash rolling in. Mark my words: 1) Disney will drop her. 2) Miley will follow in the Lindsay, Britney, Paris footsteps.

Texan   April 28th, 2008 - 6:44 pm

I read where Miley spouted the old line that the photos were “artistic”. Its the same old bs every female who regrets a photo shoot after the fact says. memo to Miley: Vanity Fair will sell out your soft core photo to pediophiles natiowide. Congratulats on becoming yet another celebrutard.

If anyone had ever asked Sinatra to pose that way with Nancy he’d have someone break the photographer’s legs (even if it was a woman). B

Naaka   April 28th, 2008 - 7:00 pm

Her parents,Annie, and Vanity fair should all be busted for child Porn. She is 15 years old and was photographed in a sexual way by herself and with her SICKO father. If this was just some regular family who sent photos like this to a CVS to develop they would all be busted. But because of all the money these creeps have they get away with it.i have not heard a word about this being child porn by anyone in the media either.

Read the Fable of the Ducks and Hens. Changed my life. Opened my eyes. These Jews have always traded in degeneracy.

Lonewolf   April 28th, 2008 - 8:25 pm

What the heck??? Very suggestive photo shoot of Dad and Daughter. Wierd and creepy do best describe the photos taken and you can throw in the term exploiting also. Daddy outta be ashamed he went along with this garbage.

Joe   April 28th, 2008 - 9:14 pm

Lost all respect for both of them. She’s had her youth and innocence perverted and stolen. He’s worse than the sect in Texas. He’s clearly sick.

TexasMom   April 28th, 2008 - 9:51 pm

Billy Rae’s words may have been “outrage” but his actions all say money. Sad witness!

Rover   April 28th, 2008 - 11:54 pm

Gosh! Everyone ran to see the horrific photo!!

If you got anything to say just go give Manny a slap if you can reach that high.

Dennis   August 23rd, 2009 - 3:38 pm

Dont forget, the photographer has issues with sexuality as well.

So, why is it any wonder that the product of this photographer’s work be anything less than trying to blurr the lines between the gay and straight life styles by blurring the lines within the family unit.

The message (picture) is in focus when everything else is blurred and distorted.

HR Puffnstuff   August 23rd, 2009 - 7:32 pm

Sorry but that was just plain disturbing. Just wow!

Dale   August 23rd, 2009 - 8:19 pm

This dude and his daughter are as creepy as they come! I don’t give a rip about her alter ego Hannah Bannana or whatever- she’s a little who in the making- mark it down!

Erik   August 23rd, 2009 - 10:12 pm

Papa Cyrus is a typical Republican: money before anything.

eveabeva   August 24th, 2009 - 1:50 am

creepy??? you have got to be kidding. Just a kid with her dad. It is you people who sould be looked at… by law inforcement

Eric   August 24th, 2009 - 2:46 am

The important thing is not ‘how it looks to us.’ The important thing is what they feel inside. If they are hot for each other, that’s one thing. But if they are just a close father/daughter pair, then I don’t see how it is a bad thing. If it were her mom instead of her dad, would you feel the same way? Maybe it’s you who has issues. He’s not molesting her, for Pete’s sake, she’s just reclining on him and he kisses her forehead. What kind of a world is this where love and affection are seen as ‘dirty?’

Art 5   August 24th, 2009 - 8:41 am

Just look at this… is this not narcissistic creepiness? Call this “Art”? No, this is not art – this is idolatry of some bizarre kind and an eager willingness to sell out for money. We are such creeps.

BryanP   August 24th, 2009 - 11:53 am

What a bunch of nanny do-gooders. It may not be art, but who cares? You have NO idea what these people say in conversation to each other, how they interact as father daughter or whatever. I have a 16 yo daughter and we are very close. We can talk about ANYTHING and show affection because we are close. Not superficial like you all must be used to. If they agree to make money, what f’ing business is it of yours? I wonder what some of you have paid for that nobody knows? stop writing hate and just shut up and listen.

awalsh   August 24th, 2009 - 3:50 pm

BryanP-The sick defending the sick. I feel sorry for your daughter. She’ll probably never be able to be in a normal relationship with a man.

Bartbreit   August 24th, 2009 - 5:27 pm

The most telling sign in the video that something is completely wrong with the photo shoot/parental actions happens to be the close up of Billy Ray Cyrus’ arm tattoo stating “Money Changes Everything”

Anyone who truly loves their child would not subject them to the sexualization that Mr. Cyrus has. Instead of loving his daughter as a father should, his love of money has caused him to cross the line, possibly even into incest. It is quite obvious that something is off, when you look at the photos of Miss Cyrus laying like a sex kitten across the lap of her father. Any parent who allows their children to watch/buy Hannah Montana the product is possibly a worse parent that Billy Ray Cyrus. You should know better, the signs are all there.

If you need more evidence, or are not convinced, please check my ‘website’ for a link to a blog I found that has compiled the evidence and presents it. Many of you will still deny the truth, but that is because you either too dense for any knowledge to sink in, or are too brainwashed by big brother to do anything but sacrifice your children to the same over sexualization and mind trauma caused by teenage girls acting promiscuous.

Femalien   August 24th, 2009 - 7:53 pm

Bartbreit, the tattoo says “Music Changes Everything,” so your rant is slightly nullified. However, I still think the father/daughter photos are borderline sick. That’s not paternal love being shown, it’s sexualized. And Billy Ray stood by his underaged daughter’s pole dance at the Teen Choice Awards recently, so there you go.
