Hey Warpuppy

I think your mommy is calling you. She says she fixed your XBOX and you can go back to your room. She left some milk and cookies for you.

Ted   June 30th, 2009 - 3:38 pm

Dear WarDog,
Sounds as if you are not an American citizen. Thank God. We have enough of your trash-talking America- hating jerks here now! Please stay where you are. Or maybe you could run to be our President- he is in the same catagory as you, but he is even an illegal alien! You would have to beat that.

Trent   June 30th, 2009 - 3:50 pm

Well said, WarDog. I listen to “What Really Happened” Radio with Mike Rivero, so I think I catch the reference to Freedman. That special group, all AIPAC traitors” set up to give crafted (phony) intelligence that circumvented our own intelligence structure was vital for the “war for Israel” movement that has cost thousands of American lives, many more in other countries, a few trillion in debt we didn’t need, but Israel got to write our foreign policy and have us serve their interests in the region. I can’t believe so many Americans can’t see that.

Kurt   June 30th, 2009 - 3:56 pm

WarDog is the pseudo name for Brian Williams or is it Keith Obermann?

Sashland   June 30th, 2009 - 4:00 pm

“Wardog” is an example of what happens to people brains when they choose to “believe” propaganda. Total delusion and lack of reality. Who need facts when you are told what to “believe”. Most likely “believes” that the CIA/Mossad caused 9/11. Not too far from the Von Brunn. the Noam Chomsky effect. Protect your children through education, information, and thinking skills so they can protect themselves from this disease.

sashland   June 30th, 2009 - 4:01 pm

opps, too slow to post, Trent stole my thunder by highlighting the delusional conspiracy “thinkers”…

DarkKnight77587   June 30th, 2009 - 4:16 pm

GREAT Story – Can’t believe it came from pMSNBC!

KGustave   June 30th, 2009 - 4:45 pm

Although I believe the Afghanistan war should fought, it is clear that it is not a war that our conventional forces should be fighting. This is the exact situation our troops faced in Vietnam. If conventional forces are to be used, it should be trained Afghanistan military doing it. The extent of our involvement should be to use SOF for limited Operations and in a limited capacity. We would do much better fighting that type of war there. What we need to think about is the sustainability of the operations for a long extended period of time because the bad guys are not going to pack up and go away any time soon. But, using the special warfare option and training the Afghan forces to take on the brunt of the conventional mission would enable us to maintain for as long as we need to with minimal risk to our troops.

This does not in anyway diminish the job that those guys in the video are doing. They are in my view… Heroes no doubt!

hero |?hi(?)r?|
noun ( pl. -roes)
a person, typically a man, who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities : a war hero.

Ivan   June 30th, 2009 - 4:49 pm

Wardog is what results when cowboys have sex with sheep.

Big Al   June 30th, 2009 - 5:18 pm

WarDog,

You sound just like the anti war forces in WWII. Our troops leaving the cities and eventually leaving the democratic country of IRAQ, show exactly what the USA is about. If you and your types were right we would have kept control of IRAQ for the oil. We are getting IRAQ squared away and they will have to run their own show. Wish you types would move to France or some other country. We will do exactly what we did in WWII, free the people and let each country deceide the route they wish to take. Perhaps you should get some counseling? Your world must be very upsetting. No good guys anywhere. The troops in Viper are honorable. Unlike you, they stand for something. And long after your small world has come down around you they will be making a difference.

Sharmeen   June 30th, 2009 - 5:34 pm

These are the guys that people like Sean Penn and Janeane Garofalo and Keith Olbermann would probably give anything to spit at if they could only find out when they were arriving back in the USA. It makes you wonder, after all of Sean Penn’s trying to idolize the Iranian government, how the people in the streets of Tehran felt this month about people like him when they were taking bullets from that very same government! Or makes you wonder, when all the black folks at the Dallas Tea Party set for July 4 have put out a video invitation to Janeane Garofalo to attend their tea party, after she famously derided all Tea Party attendees as racists and rednecks. Or who really tells the truth and can support it, when Keith Olbermann is allowed by his GE corporate masters to call Bill O’Reilly a “racist homophobic misogynist liar”, without being forced to provide evidence for any of the words in that sentence. Americans are sick and tired of the ignorant haters who are trying daily to divide us, and as we approach July 4, let us give thanks to these soldiers, who are the polar opposites to the so-called “Americans” that are trying their best to offset all the sacrifices these soldiers are making for us.

HonestDog   June 30th, 2009 - 5:39 pm

WarDog is scheduled to receive the Freedom of Berkeley California award for those nutty beliefs! Maybe he could even run for mayor there. The only problem is he still needs to learn to hate and ridicule Christians daily to really be a shoo-in for acceptance there. No Christmas trees or decorations, and no American flags allowed in Berkeley! Don’t even THINK about putting up either, they will be removed by the other residents of the town at night if you try!

Kool Aid Antidote   June 30th, 2009 - 5:50 pm

Honestdog dude, that’s hilarious! I noticed that too! Pity nobody on TV covers that. People in Berkeley hate you if you are patriotic or religious in any way, man. THey don’t just think they are better than everyone, they KNOW they are. If you don’t believe what they believe, then you must be stupid. They are the most indoctrinated and ultimately ignorant people in the USA, and they don’t even know how out of touch they are. Just visit there and see how many happy people you see! Shouldn’t that be the definition of success? But they’re taught total prejudice everywhere, and sit in their depressing coffeehouses reading their so-called “intellectual” communist manifestos to see how much they can impress each other with their own personal crusade. They don’t know when to turn off the Protest switch. What a depressing kool-aid drinking place. It’s Liberal Jonestown, USA! Take the bypass route if you want to remain happy and unencumbered and objective about everything.

Woody   June 30th, 2009 - 6:03 pm

Ivan: “Wardog is what results when cowboys have sex with sheep.”

LMAO!!!

dennis   June 30th, 2009 - 6:26 pm

Let’s not insult innocent sheep. They have nothing to do with people like wartdog.

blackHat   June 30th, 2009 - 6:34 pm

@Ted:

Criticising the actions of our government (which were taken completely without obtaining the popular assent of the American people, mind you) is hardly tantamount to “hating America,” nor is it a sign that one isn’t a citizen. Quite the contrary–if i or anyone actually “hated America,” it would stand to reason that we would relocate ourselves elsewhere. i criticise what the US government does because it’s my responsibility, as well as yours, as a citizen of this republic to do so. i love my country, and desire for it to be the best that it can be. You apparently have an infinitesimally narrow understanding of this. You, and everyone else who sees fit to march in lockstep with a government that continues to behave recklessly and destructively, belong in an authoritarian dictatorship, where you need not suffer your ears the indignity of dissent…

blackHat   June 30th, 2009 - 9:15 pm

@Big Al:

Go ahead and drink the propaganda deeply. The US has no intention of leaving Iraq. We’re building the biggest embassy the world has ever known in the Green Zone, complete with fortified residences, weapons, etc…the place has it’s own power plant for chrissakes. You don’t build something like that in a place you want to leave. You think that the Bush administration having no exit strategy was just a careless oversight? The U.S. will have one foot in Iraq until the day there is no U.S. anymore. Yes, we did the right thing in WWII by not trying to procure an empire. But then again, we remembered our history then…remember Guam and the Philippines? Empire is difficult and expensive and ultimately not worth it. However, we’ve been quick to discard prudence since then, it seems. Vietnam was a mistake, Korea was a mistake, every one of our collusions with tin-pot dictators in Latin America were mistakes, the first Gulf war did nothing but make enemies of bin Laden and Saddam Hussein (don’t forget–the US was once friendly with both), Kosovo was a ruse, and we all know what Iraq and Afghanistan have become. My point is, the US hasn’t conducted a justifiable military campaign since WWII.

Other   July 1st, 2009 - 3:35 pm

Wardog may be uncouth trash, but he strikes some truth.

Why are we in Afghanistan still? The place will never settle down completely. Its the kind of place that you go in hard and fast and violently. Whip it down. Then leave. Ina few years, rinse and repeat.

We will be going back there often but we do not need to stay there indefinitely.

Other   July 1st, 2009 - 3:38 pm

blackhat,

Imperialism is the conquering of nations and taking their land. Short and simple.

The USA conquered but left. An embassy is hardly an imperialist palace.

That said…we do need to keep a strong force in the Middle East. Iraq is perfect for that. I too see no reason why we would spend blood and treasure and totally leave.

We will have a strong influence in the Middle East, but we wont run it.

ron   July 3rd, 2009 - 2:54 pm

I am ex military, love america but do not like the way this government is leading everyone into the economic gaschambers. I fly the american flag upside down to display my displeasure of the goverment and the waste of the american soldier. This what everyone should do.

KM   July 3rd, 2009 - 6:00 pm

Hey ron,

You give a couple of mixed messages there in your post, my boy. And, especially with our Independence Day just around the corner, it is spelled with a capital “A” …America or I’ll settle for “AMERICA!”. That’s how you spell it! Like that ron, my boy.

God bless America!

Goth VanHellsing   July 4th, 2009 - 4:31 am

Wardog and his/her supporters don’t fallow history very well. Their was a time when this country fallowed a path of isolationism, and that coasted the lives of 318,274 Americans. The time was in the late 1930s the war, WW2. We tried to sit back let the world do it’s own thing and let a union of European states dictate how we would handle a post war region. It didn’t work out very well. Saying not well at all is a giant understatement when you look at the total death figure that most estimate around 73 million. Before you get all huffy claiming the bomb was the reason why, Japan only lost 2,700,000 that number is far less then countries like Poland with 6,000,000 or Russia with 23,100,000 of the total deaths in the war. If anything the bomb saved us from 2 or 3 more years of a brutal war that was killing hundreds of people every day.

I don’t think anyone has picked up that War Curd is just trying to get a rise out of readers. No one can really be that stupid to think that AQ attacked the U.S. on 9/11 and we started this. Come on! He’s just baiting you….well, second thought, maybe he is really stupid.

War puppy; Tell your story to those who lost people on 9/11

Jeff   July 7th, 2009 - 1:20 am

Warpuppy was one of the 9/11 hijackers that got away.

WestPack   July 12th, 2009 - 7:24 pm

Hey war puppy, why don’t you spout your trash to Viper Co when they get home?
Take your mommy with you when you do that.

Alibaba bin Hocker   July 13th, 2009 - 1:40 am

Praise be to Allah. American pigs run like dogs from mighty cave warriors.
Obimbo run like gangsta from police and take troops go boom. Obozo buy poppy crop to support war on innocent burkas and babies. Snot run from nose. Snotty Oblamea have plenty ear wax to not hear cry of rughead. Obumma suks.

Yaspar   July 28th, 2009 - 10:49 am

Our guys sat in an old rubble heap and waited for the t-ban to attack? Kudos to our guys, but this ain’t no way to fight a war! Also, the local “elders” tipped off the t-ban? How come we don’t take those elders into the town square and hang them in front of their clan? Make it clear: next time you tip off the t-ban, we level your village. Then we go hunting the t-ban, not sitting with our thumbs parked you-know-where, waiting for them to attack.

JF   July 28th, 2009 - 2:41 pm

Sounds like all this propoganda is working well by reading these comments, what a bunch of misinformed people, the only one that has a clue is WarDog.

Fred   August 2nd, 2009 - 12:14 am

Liberals can’t make up their minds. The Iraq War was bad, the Afghanistan War was good. Now the latter is bad.
Then again, Liberals don’t have any standards – as it’s so easy for them to embrace relativism:

“That’s true for you but not for me.”

wtbofnc   August 2nd, 2009 - 8:59 am

Our problem is that we try to make too many friends. We should have gone in there weeks after 9-11 and destroyed anyone carrying a gun. We should have “Herded” them out of the mountains with small tactical nuclear weapons and corralled them in the valleys. Today, we have to hear from pieces of War Dog spewing garbage… Hey, let’s go in, let ‘em figure us out, give ‘em the edge and then try to fight them… I am afraid that we are reliving the wrongs people have written in history. The percentage of Cowards in America is overwhelming and it is damaging because even though they are afraid of war, they are not afraid of opening their “Pie Holes” on public TV or Radio…

Barbara   August 2nd, 2009 - 10:15 am

Kudos to these brave young men who have the guts to do this each and every day. I hope we come up with the right strategies to fight this war everywhere and minimize our losses. I don’t get how libs like warpuppy think the way they do. If they called all the shots we would have lost our freedoms long ago. Thank you all soldiers and vets, including my two sons -who joined the military of their own volition. While I tried to discourage them as I’m sure many mothers do, I am entirely proud of them and their service. Until you have a family member in the military you have no idea of the sacrifice both the soldier and their families make. Bless them all! Go find your xbox warpuppy.

Bombdog   August 2nd, 2009 - 7:54 pm

Well i can see that there are a lot of guys who have never known what war is all about. I took an oath to serve and protect my Nation and all her interests ( even economics) so that brings us to the secound and most importent rule of war. Kill or be killed make the other guy die for his oath and his interests. So for all of you arm chair warriors if you ain’t played in the game step back and hold your opinion for the kool-aid crew who would never be able to survive in a battle and whould only fight for one thing the downfall of my country. WarDog you do not have the right to use the monicker of “WAR” in your posts you are a pathedic piece of human excrement.

gasyusblast   August 3rd, 2009 - 2:10 pm

cavetrolls can’t stand and fight they take a shot and run…kind of like wardog, were the bad guy so throw a rock and run little puppy. bark bark….mush to canada and hide.
