This kid and many other young people are becoming disillusioned by society and government in general so to counteract their disillusionment they turn sociopathic against society and take up a cause (in this case "terrorism" under the guise of Islam) to fight what they perceive is the problem i.e. – in their minds the United States of America.
This kid and others like him turn to a god and a religion of HATE i.e. Islam, because their disillusionment and anger has blinded them to reality and truth and/or to the true God of love and forgiveness i.e. the God of the Bible and Christianity in particular. You don't see bona fide Christians flying 747's into buildings or strapping bombs to their bodies and blowing people up do you? But Muslims are taught to "kill" what in their mind are infidels even as the prophet Muhammad instructed them to do in the writings of the Qur'an. And Muhammad himself was a man of murder and mayhem and was bloodthirsty to take over the entire world with his religion and instructed his followers to do just that. Extreme Islamists have committed themselves to their diabolical and hell-bent cause which everyone around the world has witnessed its destructive and diabolical devastation; many of them firsthand. And all the more reason to STOP THEM in their tracks before they overrun the whole world with their wickedly evil ideology.
The judge and jury should convict that dude and lock him up for at least 10 years and by the time he gets out he'll hopefully have learned his lesson that "terrorism" doesn't pay. While he's locked up I hope he is able to get his hands on a Bible and that it will open his eyes to the error of his ways and the redemption he so desperately needs. And to all the others – DON'T MESS WITH THE U.S.!! Or you'll be dealt the same fate (or worse) as this lad is gonna face. Unless Eric "no Hold'em" Holder lets him go on a technicality. Knowing Eric Holder I wouldn't be at all surprised if Holder slaps him with a fine and then sends him home to mommy and daddy to regroup and attack on another day. Wouldn't be at ALL surprised..
