Update: Video Captures Terror as Russian Nightclub Fire Ignites

The New York Times: The master of ceremonies at the nightclub was cracking jokes late on Friday, surrounded by hundreds of people eating sushi and dancing with drinks in hand, when a pyrotechnic display ignited a plastic ceiling decorated with twigs. “Ladies and gentlemen!” the M.C. shouted. “We are on fire! Leave the hall!”

The problem in Russia is not the lack of laws, but rather, as so often happens in Russia, the officials in charge of enforcing the law are corrupt and will look the other way if the bribed.

Burn all the night “clubs” that are not clubs but merely warehouses with loud, crappy music, over-priced drinks and degenerates. A club has exclusive membership, not riff-raff off the street. Only the most useless segments of society go to these places.

BTW, there is very little combustible materials in one of these “clubs.” What is gonna burn? Not even the watered-down alchohol. The danger is the danger of being around low-intelligent herd-animal-types that would go to one of these places. Seems like a self-selection process by which we could all rid society of the most useless elements. Burn, baby, burn.
