The Black Panther intimidation case is a non-story? And Breitbart posting a clip of Sherrod's speech is a big story? The story here is that she was fired. Andrew didn't fire her. She was fired by her own, THAT'S the story. Rush Limbaugh is regularly quoted out of context. He isn't suing anybody. He's been fired too for things he said taken out of context. Sherrod's comments were not taken out of context. She was admitting to showing a racial bias, whether it was in the past or not. I sure get a kick out of the talking heads telling us what is a relevant story and what isn't, and Howard Dean becomes a more irrelevant story every time he opens his mouth to bash Fox News. Old hat Dean. It's getting real old. Facts will not dissuade you from continuing to make your claims. But Howard you're still free to dig your own political grave with your mouth.

Andrew Breitbart exposed the hypocrisy of the NAACP in its attacks upon the Tea Party. The tape of Mrs. Sherrod stands alone in and of its self regarding the audience approval when she played the reverse discrimination card upon the farmer as she directed the farmer (her charge) to "one of his own kind". No matter the moral lesson or teachable moment there, Chris Matthews makes no mention of the audible approval and deflects attention from the throwing stones in a glass house analogy Breitbart so aptly proffered to the mainstream media regarding the NAACP's hypocrisy.

Simply put, the all to obvious murmurs of approval by the attendees of Mrs. Sherrods' audience is a scathing indictment upon the NAACP regarding the double standard is clearly shown.

Lets review, Breitbart contacted the NAACP regarding the tape to confirm that it was an accurate unedited version, the NAACP did not respond with either a rebuttal or the complete version of which they had in their possession.

Mrs. Sherrod, in her own words described the dialogue leading up to her dismissal and at no point was held accountable for her past racially divisive activism by her or her husband Mr. Sherrod. Further exacerbating the situation are the videos now circulating the internet of Mr. Sherrod espousing racial disharmony while using terms and language that again show hypocrisy.

Are we to believe these talking heads when they counter facts with mis information and a continuous stream of pablum designed to fade heat from the Obama administrations continuous failures, ranging from Afghanistan, border security, the economy and inaction regarding the Gulf Oil Spill. The ratings tell the story, America is speaking out with their choice of information sources and it is being tallied in lost advertising income. The masses are ignorant up to a point, as one wonders about the Obama rally supporter and her fuel costs, mortgage payment and worries that no doubt has experienced a moment of clarity that Obama was not the answer, self reliance and accountability is, as it always has been in America.

Has the left buried its collective head so far into the propagandist sand that the discovery of condemning videos and information about its people and policies are to be attacked with faux indignation and conspiracy theories of which end in a grassy knollesque diatribe from every liberal pundit?

I won't go into the details about how television works, but sometimes news anchors only play the relevant portion of a clip because the rest is too long or redundant. It's o.k., you can still hate Andrew Breitbart, but now you can enjoy the news a little more too – not wondering why footage suddenly stops all the time. Good luck, buddy.

I actually saw it on Andrews site shortly after it was posted and it included the beginning of her alleged transformation. I also would bet that Andrew can prove how large the file was that he was sent. Everything on the internet is traceable. She was peripheral to the story anyway. The tape showed how approving the crowd was of her racism even before she got to the punchline. It will be interesting to see if she actually sues.

Defamation depends on a number of critieria, namely whether the person is private or public, and whether the speech was private or public. It is also depends on if the information is wrong, or there was an intent to harm. How many videos has MSNBC played of the tea party out of context or other groups out of context. On the 500pm version of hardball Chris Matthews tried to debate Salon’s Joan Walsh and former Gov. Howard Dean that Andrew Breitbart’s version of the controversial Shirley Sherrod speech was completely unedited. Considering there were about 35 minutes missing from that tape.

If you caught the 7PM rerun, you wouldn’t have seen that, because Hardball retaped the segment, this time with Matthews admitting the Breitbart version was incomplete.

In the initial live 5PM segment, the conversation between Dean, Matthews, and Walsh turned uncomfortable as Matthews repeatedly defended Breitbart’s tape as “unedited.

Sometime in between the two airings of the program, the decision was made to do the segment live once again at 7PM, because what aired during what is typically a rerun. At 7pm it was the same discussion, except with Matthews agreeing that the video was edited and, instead of Gov. Dean, Politico’s Ken Vogel.

I saw the same tape that Dean saw when it first came out.

Matthews never said the BB part was unedited. He stated that BB claimed that he showed the video as he received it. If BB received a previously edited video and showed it in it's entirety then BB spoke the truth.

What is complete anyhow? A 43 minute speech that nobody showed on any major news channel? All of the versions shown on the new channels was EDITED, down to the last one, you MORON!

Had they done so and gotten past the fake repentance section they could have noted that Sherrod claimed
that under Bush there were 8 years of racism but now under Obama it is gone. They could have noticed
that she said that anyone that opposed Obamacare did so because he is black. They could have taken
note that Sherrod claimed that ALL REPUBLICANS oppose Obama because he is black.
They could have showed that Sherrod claimed that it was white farmers first in line waiting to buy up black land.
They would have seen how Sherrod claimed that rich white elitists were the ones that invented racism in order
to keep blacks down. Hell, Sherrod went into a race baiting frenzy and this AFTER her supposed conversion.
