Baron_Doom   August 3rd, 2010 - 4:42 pm

Union dispute, eh?

So, they can't blame this on a TEA Partier. Sucks for the MSM.

CatOnGlue   August 3rd, 2010 - 4:46 pm

Another episode of the violent unionized Left.

Spanky2   August 3rd, 2010 - 9:46 am

Unions = Gangs
Union members = Gang bangers

MondayC   August 3rd, 2010 - 4:47 pm

Breitbart, you failed to mention the shootout between Byron Williams and California police, with plans to go to the Tides Organization and ACLU and "kill people of importance to start a revolution."

mariodebarrio   August 3rd, 2010 - 4:49 pm

someone through him under the bus. but was it the union or then company? my guess is the union because if the company did it then the union would have back him up.

Chameberlain   August 3rd, 2010 - 4:49 pm

Must be Bush's fault. He didn't like the unions.

Baron_Doom   August 3rd, 2010 - 4:50 pm

What does that have to do with this story?

Oh, right. Nothing.

flyright66   August 3rd, 2010 - 4:50 pm

Unions have become the REAL ORGANIZED CRIME of the 21st century…..Hey union members! Wake up! Get informed and realize that your dues are going to further corrupt this filthy government! The US doesn't need unions!

NOQTR4TR8RS   August 3rd, 2010 - 4:53 pm

Diversion or subject-changing. VERY Common tactic used by ProComs.

1Ladyliberty   August 3rd, 2010 - 9:54 am

Omar ……hmmmmmmmmm and whats with the mini bus with Arabic writing on the back…..I want my country back! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DesYuRtCB2U&fe...!

JBnID   August 3rd, 2010 - 5:00 pm

With thousands and thousands of unemployed truck drivers, WHY was the union 'trying to work things out with a disciplinary problem'?
So the guy was trouble, but the union was trying to hold onto his job anyway. Figures.

gwar5   August 3rd, 2010 - 5:02 pm

Union violence, gosh, who would've thunk it? They are so peaceful and wouldn't hurt a fly. So now a union member named Omar shot an employer? The union guy on the phone won't even give the real dish on the union guy — he was there for disciplinary action. He was nuts!

When somebody "Goes Postal", they go on a shooting rampage — and all postal workers are all postal union members.
.

Order66   August 3rd, 2010 - 5:02 pm

How would capping ACLU guys "start a revolution", anyway? I'm pretty excitable right now, but I'm pretty sure news of something like that would bring my inner "Meh." to the surface.

imsailing2   August 3rd, 2010 - 5:02 pm

The Unions always defend poor behavior. When I was forced to be in a Union years ago, I went to a meeting and listened to them brag about getting a kids job back who was chronically late for work. I sat there and listened to them tell us everything we couldn't be made to do as employees. They encourage people to be lazy & poor employees and tell them they will make sure they don't loose their job or even their raise.

It's really disgusting. Unions have been taken over by criminals and thugs. They are not what they used to be. It's typical of a group or entity that starts for a good reason but ends up with too much power for too long. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

MondayC   August 3rd, 2010 - 10:02 am

It just amazes me that Breitbart can be so undeniably biased and edit clips however he feels while considering himself a "journalist." If this is newsworthy, so is a police shootout from someone on the right.

LuKuj   August 3rd, 2010 - 5:03 pm

I am waiting with bated breath to hear the President or someone representing him condemn union violence. I'm afraid I may have a VERY long wait.

Order66   August 3rd, 2010 - 5:04 pm

NOQTR4TR8RS   August 3rd, 2010 - 5:05 pm

Really, dude, knock it off. Check out DummiesUnderground sometime. Those craven weasels are so insecure in their leftism that they won't even allow opposing points of view in the comments. Forgeddabout topics that might be viewed as favorable to the other side.

Now shut up, sit down, and pay attention. You might learn something.

LuKuj   August 3rd, 2010 - 5:06 pm

My husband was in middle management in a large trucking company. The unions fought to keep people employeed who had been caught in the act of theft and who had assaulted other employees and much more. It was a struggle that required multiple warnings, multiple write ups for infranction, and even then it was very difficult to get anyone fired. Unless it was another union member murdered, I don't think cold-blooded murder would have been considered a reason for a firing.

MrRight   August 3rd, 2010 - 5:10 pm

Here's your unions in action. Its not my way or the highway, Its my way or my way OR the grave yard.

BHO_UMM_UMM_UMM   August 3rd, 2010 - 5:17 pm

Williams was a convicted felon and lived with his mother. That's a Democrat if ever there was one. He was just mad at the government for putting him in jail for acting out the liberal life of crimes. Check out the prisons — Democrats almost exclusively.

And be real. Those on the left closest to sanity are getting mad at Obama, Reid, and Pelosi for abusing them with government, bankrupting their personal finances, eliminating their jobs, condemning America to financial ruin. Notice the low approval rate for Obama, even with a 13% built-in approval no matter what he does?

NOQTR4TR8RS   August 3rd, 2010 - 5:19 pm

"It just amazes me that Breitbart can be so undeniably biased and edit clips however he feels while considering himself a "journalist."
It amazes me that you would expect Breitbart to be non-biased, when he openly admits that he is a conservative, and wishes to destroy the institutional left. It's like expecting Limbaugh or Olbermann to be totally non-biased. If you're seeking non-biased journalism, you've come to the wrong place. And, by the way, they're ALL biased. ALL of them.

"If this is newsworthy, so is a police shootout from someone on the right."
I agree. Both stories are equally newsworthy.

BHO_UMM_UMM_UMM   August 3rd, 2010 - 5:20 pm

They are working on the twist, like maybe the gun he used was stolen from a tea partier's home, or the shooter heard Beck's voice telling him to do it.

Dave_in_Oregon   August 3rd, 2010 - 5:21 pm

So the SEIU supports the NRA and the second amendment? Who wudda thunk?

SubjectofUSSA   August 3rd, 2010 - 10:41 am

Welcome to the World of Obama, would bet almost anything it's an Obama voter

SubjectofUSSA   August 3rd, 2010 - 5:53 pm

Actually I believe they do. He probably got to take a smoke break between murders 3 and 4, and will collect union pensions for himself and his family while he rots in jail while the tax payers keep him alive for the next 50 years, educating and feeding him. If he converts to Islam in prison maybe they'll set him up with some of those bleeding-heart re-education plans.

SunCrackedSoul   August 3rd, 2010 - 6:03 pm

unions breed violence

UrinalMint   August 3rd, 2010 - 6:05 pm

A union dispute with guns and intimidation
Front page news for the union, a big sensation
The guy who shot the innocent was inane

This brings a whole new way to achieve union mediation

Fox News reporting the killer complained of racism &c. at work, 2:15pm EST.

THAT didn't take long.

SubjectofUSSA   August 3rd, 2010 - 6:24 pm

How about Obama's 5 million "saved jobs" Or Clinton's bang up job on terrorism

SevenDamsels   August 3rd, 2010 - 6:27 pm

Can't imagine why my post reporting that at 2:14pm EST Fox News reported the person responsible (allegedly) had complained of racism in the work place was deleted. No idea why my shock (shock!) at racism being injected should be deleted.

WhiteGuy2   August 3rd, 2010 - 11:31 am

The local news here in CT is reporting that the family of the shooter says the shooter had lodged several complaints of racial discrimination on coworkers and managment ignord said complaints. Seems they are already painting the shooter as the victim because he's black. The race huslters will be in town soon, the law suits will be flying.

Spanky2   August 3rd, 2010 - 11:31 am

Huh?

I responded to your post above:

MondayC   August 3rd, 2010 - 6:35 pm

I'm not surprised by a right-winger being right-wing, but politics should go aside when you call yourself a journalist. Too bad the number of real political journalists in this country doesn't even top 100. It's just weird how Breitbart wants to be part of the "new media" when he's just as biased as the old media.

freedom rocks   August 3rd, 2010 - 6:39 pm

I can see the handwriting on the wall its the teaparty's fault. Just another victim of racism in the U.S. So sorry for the families of the victims, no one should have to experience this type of tragedy.

smellyfinger   August 3rd, 2010 - 6:43 pm

He was Union
He voted for Obama

Spanky2   August 3rd, 2010 - 6:57 pm

Guns don't kill jobs.

Unions do.

mackycat   August 3rd, 2010 - 11:58 am

1st of all, the incident you cited (Byron Williams) happened fifteen days ago. This shooting in CT happened today.

2nd, Breitbart tends to cover stories buried by the MSM. Byron Williams story was covered by the MSM.

3rd, there is no evidence that Byron Williams is a so called "right winger." It seems as if he's just a disgruntled nutjob to me. The guy has a long criminal record (felonies) and was out of prison – not your typical "right winger." I saw no evidence of a party affiliation in any of the coverage other than what was injected by the left-wing media – just that he was tired of being unemployed and doesn't like the policies of the congress. That doesn't make him a "right winger."

4th, nobody died in his shooting. we know that nine people died in CT today, making it a much bigger, national story.

You're comparing apples and oranges, which is typical of brainwashed, easily duped people like yourself. I'm sorry but you have no case here.

UrinalMint   August 3rd, 2010 - 7:04 pm

Great….Another sack of squirrel squirt playing the race card. Did I mean the shooter? Nope, he is dead. BUT the MSM is hot on top of this story and you can be sure Loud-Mouthed Jesse and Bug-Eyed Al will be on this.

I bet neither of the reverends asks for peace for the white victims and their families, or offer their services for the funeral.

2010zr1   August 3rd, 2010 - 7:07 pm

Our prayers go out to yet more people affected by the violent leftists in our country.

2010zr1   August 3rd, 2010 - 7:10 pm

u phcrs on the left gave saddam time to hustle the WMDs over to Syria, Lebenon and Iran. Now Iran has got nukes-Syria is next and who the phc cares where uncle dicks fingerprints are??

Seriously. You people make ignorant people look like Stephen Hawking.

SunshineConnie   August 3rd, 2010 - 8:06 pm

Lest anyone forget: It is still Bush's fault!

God forbid an individual be responsible for their actions. Blame the man, racism, the boss, the union, the co-worker, the family… BULLSHIT blame the damned fool who did not know how to do a job and get along at work or move on in life. BLAME never comes with success, blame frequently comes with tragedy.

lib_hater   August 3rd, 2010 - 8:13 pm

Um, it says police on it.

Repugs_are_Scum   August 3rd, 2010 - 8:14 pm

Wonder why that is!! I also wonder if he ran a story about the Pittsburgh kid who wiped out a bunch of cops because "Obama was coming for his guns." Hmmmmm… and I wonder how much press Scott Roeder got in here…

Repugs_are_Scum   August 3rd, 2010 - 8:14 pm

But guns don't kill people, right morons?

probes5   August 3rd, 2010 - 8:22 pm

Thanks Mr President, from the families of the victims, you have suceeded in dividing our nation, by design, you have undone 50 years of progression towards racial harmony in the span of 18 + months….way to go, proud a ya…

now there are 8 families that lost loved ones thanks to your divisive agenda,

kmichaels   August 3rd, 2010 - 8:28 pm

Sounds just like you. You are biased and you edit comments towards a bigoted and biased leftist outcome. Do you figure you do the same stuff you say is bad in a better manner? Why did you choose just now a leftist subject, promoted by leftist press figures? You're such a god damned idiot hypocrite.

kmichaels   August 3rd, 2010 - 8:29 pm

So, you often bash Olbermann and Maddow then?
You bash Chrissy Matthews? Anyone on the left oh
unwise piece of shit hypocrite?

kmichaels   August 3rd, 2010 - 8:30 pm

Scott Roeder, murderer, killed another murderer? Sorry, why should we care again?

kmichaels   August 3rd, 2010 - 8:32 pm

China has a sale on chinese flags. How many did you buy, asshole liberal america hater?

kmichaels   August 3rd, 2010 - 8:33 pm

Even your label has the stench of liberal extremism, poopstain boy.

kmichaels   August 3rd, 2010 - 1:33 pm

Not too many guns decide they are going to kill anyone, poopstain boy.
Perhaps you are aware of fully automatic automatic guns that have the
ability to walk and shoot totally on their own? If so, I hope one of those
such amazing guns decides to put you down.

kmichaels   August 3rd, 2010 - 1:42 pm

By far, the greatest number of murders using guns
are done by people, not the guns themselves.
These people that use guns to kill are primarily
urbanites, and primarily democrats. They are
primarily democrats killing people in democrat
cities that also happen to have strong gun control
laws. Wow. And here you thought the guns
just killed people on their own.

had reverted you back down into you're dungeon
where no one could find you & not even a computer screen lights the walls. Sorry you're attempt to debunk me didn't pan out & turned into such a blow …but easy come easy go.

Good to see you are among the the purveyors of 'truth, justice, & the American way' again.

No, K- I do not, & have not shopped China*mart for several years now .
I am too much an American to even think of shopping an institution that employs slave labor in China to make cheap inferior goods along with lining the pockets of corporations who ship jobs overseas & create a weak middle class-
That would be things which conservatives do~
You once again, got me wrong….
I wouldn't recommend you go there either-
Rainbow flags , I bet you order them on line don't you?

glock22   August 4th, 2010 - 1:54 am

That's right, sphincter boy! Guns don't kill people! You stupid f___ing scumbags on the left don't have the g-ddamned brains to realize that guns can't do anything until they're picked up by a person! Tell me, a–hole, when was the last time you ever heard of a gun getting up and walking out the front door of it's home to go out and kill someone??? TELL ME, YOU S.O.B!!! Go F— yourself. And while your at it, go to the nearest large body of water, and stick your head in it 3 times, and pull it out twice!

1950Cracker   August 4th, 2010 - 4:12 am

Not to worry; the DOJ doesn't believe in bringing justice to blacks who commit crimes against whites. My condolences to all the families affected by the tragedy.

tommyd88   August 4th, 2010 - 4:24 pm

Just some FYI here… Unions can do a lot to protect a member in the event they get in trouble, BUT stealing from the company is one of those areas where the union really can't do much for a person… you do the crime and you are usually done for good…

I am a 20 year member of a large union and have seen a lot of people get their jobs back with union help, even when they should not, but those caught stealing usually NEVER get back.

This guy was obviously mental, it is a huge shame he decided to devastate other's and their families as a result of his problems. He OBVIOUSLY had premeditated this action.. so yes it possibly indicates there was some issues at work there. .. None would however justify premeditated murder…
