Hey, stupid, now that you are unemployed, how are you going to get health insurance that is affordable? Fat women are probably less likely to get a reasonable rate due to a pre-existing condition. So now if you choke on that extra Big Mac how are you going to pay for it, sweetie?

when paying the penalty is way less than the healthcare cost. The employee will lose that part of their compensation plus facing having to buy health benefits
on their own. Most health providers will not take new enrollees so you will be left with buying into the guvment plan. This is the way you get everyone
on guvment run healthcare. Plus dopehead, it’s unconstitutional. We need reforms, we don’t need a total revamping of the best healthcare system in the world. You
know the one that a Canadian guvment official utilized when facing a heart procedure. Why didn’t he stay in Canada and use the very same system the peasants have

@ “what a dope” – I won’t speak for her in paricular, but the overwhelming majority of thos of us that oppose healthcare do it on principle, not necessarily b/c we would or would not benefit from it. of course, there are also the concerns regarding the widespread failure of most other systems of socialized medicine in european countries. Mainly though, I object on principle to any and all government seizure of money from those that earned it to distribute it to those who have not. In short, I object to this on the same grounds that I object to medicare, medicaid, welfare, social security, food stamps, WIC… you name any social program and I feel the same about it. I’m not ‘too dumb’ to realize that I would definitely fall into the lower income category, and would most likely be wholly subsidized… I merely object to it in the same way I would object to mugging someone for their money (no matter how I use it, the theft and threat of violence would still be wrong.) Mugging is exactly the same as what the government does to get the money they fund these programs with… honestly, how many people would pay taxes if there were not the threat of “enforcement” by armed “law enforcement” agents?
