My family has been going to Disneyland from the beginning. We’re a big Disney family, DVD’s, season passes, Disney Vacation Club (timeshare), etc. I had heard of “Gay Days”, but never been in Anaheim during the Gay Days weekend. I can’t say that anymore after October 3rd. I’d guess that 40% of the people in the park had red Gay Days affiliated shirts. The official shirts (according to their website at gaydaysanaheim.com) are red and non offensive, but the website tells people that if they don’t buy the official shirt : “NOTE FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE THE OFFICIAL GAY DAYS T-SHIRT: We encourage your creativity when selecting a shirt (as long as it’s red!). Just please keep in mind that Disneyland is open to the general public and there will be people of all ages present. Thanks!”

My wife and I went with our 6 & 2 year olds. The six year old reads very well and unfortunately read, out loud, every damn shirt. Colleges which benefit from federal grants and research awards must provide a syllabus of course work to a new anti American watchdog agency and allow opposing conservative opinion or lose grants.

The media should lose constitutional protection and rights if bias is averaged at more than 60% of reporting or intentional misrepresentation of facts in more than 10% of articles.

There is another portion that turned to this lifestyle as a choice based on something else, usually abuse, neglect, mental issues, whatever. Why can’t we keep the gay agenda out of the classroom. To put this in perspective, some people are born without eyesight, and teaching that students should not bully or single out such a person is fine. But teaching kids that it is OK to be blind, or preferred, or your choice, or that you are enlightened if you are blind, such that kids use an ice pick to blind themselves is not OK. The distinction is lost in the politics of PC but there is a big difference between tolerance and indoctrination.

By way of counterpoint he is ironically identifying Romeo and Juliet as “recruiting for heterosexuality”.

He is suggesting that in fact for years the classical literature and other teachings in public school have portrayed heterosexuality as right, so if it was possible to teach someone a sexual orientation, then there would be no homosexuals.

The “myth” he refers to is the one that suggests that it is possible to change someone’s sexual orientation via teaching and/or counseling. This is an idea which has been decried by the American Psychological Association, among other organizations. It is an idea which has consistently led to bullying (up to the point of murder) of homosexual youth in America, as well as potentially harmful “counseling”.
