In order to call it a war America would have to want to win, but the problem is

“speak truth to power” — as so many have aptly pointed out, OBAMB IS THE POWER … does he forget? … or is Jarret flubbing and saying that it’s really the corporations who own the media, whether its Fox or MSNBC or CNN? The Administration’s constant use of these cliches is growing real thin, & increasingly so even for Liberals (like myself). The real joke is that Obama and his minions are still trying to act like they are the lowly ones fighting the great fight — the evils of Bush’s last 8 years — and refuse to accept the responsibility of governing right now. Cripes, it’s been nearly a year since Obama staged that faux “Office of the PResident Elect” wherein he claimed it was to get a jumpstart on the problems he would be dealing with when he assumed office as the real POTUS. And yet, he still claims that he has not had enough time to analyze/gather info on the Afghanistan War. Perhaps if he had actually held, at the minimum, one meeting when he was the Committee Chair of the Afghan War, he would have a strategy by now. No matter who you are on the political spectrum, it’s not comforting to see the president “dithering” on making a decision about a war while our troops are dying after the lessons learned from ‘Nam (this was the central theme of his campaign, btw.).

Using such a term of “speaking truth to power” as their excuse du jour is insulting to anyone who has worked as a real community organizer/ working to get issues of real import by communities and its citizens heard by the powers that be. Many, many Liberals feel this way, both those who voted for Obama and are now changing their minds and those PUMAs who didn’t vote for Obama but whose clarion call was dismissed as racist reaction.

Incidentally, PLEASE don’t bash Liberals here. The Obots who voted for Obama and still defend him without using logical arguments are just that — Obotocrats. They are the ones who would rather follow a leader because it feels good than to do the hardwork necessary to get this country back on track. Too many people are really hurting in USA, without jobs, losing their homes and being unable to provide for their families, and that’s what real Liberals are ultimately concerned about. Be careful about making enemies with those who share your disgust! There were some of us who tried to keep the level of conversation in re Bush raised to a higher standard, those that hadn’t are the Obots, or now regret the demonizing of the rank ‘n’ file.

This is really a test of personal responsibility, and wether it rises up to counter a large number of voters who are in the “Obama stash cash” mentality.

In the last election those who paid Federal taxes voted 63 – 37% for McCain.

Liberalism-Socialism -Communism works on the principle of the big lie and promises. It is a European concept spawned by elites in the late 19th century to counter burgeoning US economic power. European elites felt it was unnatural for “ordinary peasants” to claw their way up and challenge the natural order. Its proponents felt if America could be gutted from within those who are born to govern would re-assert their proper position in society. (I gleaned this from newspaper commentary from Germany and England from the period)

Teddy Roosevelt and Wilson introduced a form of fascist progressive government under these guide lines. The idea was to scientifically order society with a professional bureaucracy led by proper ruling class elected by universal franchise. Power was planned to be assured for this “stable ruling class” using principle of the ghost public – feeding disinformation in education, media, and entertainment, in order to use confusion and ignorance to foster support for this arrangement. It is no coincidence MSMBC, CNN, universities, most media, and Hollywood act as they do.

The problem for scientific socialism/progressivism is human nature which tends to want a better future for the present generation and the one pending. When socialist policies fail time and again frustration must be dealt with by two means, the first propaganda, “It would have been worse if we didn’t act,” or by soft tyranny. As time goes on, and failures pile up, more and more draconian measures are pushed on citizens who have known freedom and have began to resist. Only twice in US history has conservatives become so angered by tyrannical government the felt there was no choice but to react. When a list of grievances became so long a breaking point was reached – and the world changed.

The first time came around 1773, the second was between two conservative camps – in the North who believed slavery was an affront to liberty and freedom, and one in the Southern Confederacy who believed property rights were sacred, even if that “property” was another human being. In both cases it was not pleasant but human progress and America became a better place.

Obama is quickly becoming a festering sore on America’s soul Twisted by “seeking out the Marxist Professors, campus radicals, punk rockers,” honed in twenty plus years of Reverend Wright’s Black Liberation Theology and Chicago’s racial street advocacy – community organizing network led by ex 60’s weathermen (Bill Ayers) and communists (Marshal Davis) our President who could have been a reasoning human being is little more than a case of not evil, just wrong on all counts. Coupled with a deceitful campaign by most media who painted this man as a “moderate” it is clear a majority Americans are beginning to see this game for what it is.

One doesn’t need a majority to react. Consider those who led the American Revolution had about 35% overall support when they started. The problem for the British was this “sliver” of supporters as Joe Klien Time Magazine put it, represents the hardest working, energetic proportion of US society by far. In addition according to Gallup Conservatives represent 40% of US adults, however not parsed due to media bias is amongst “Independents” fully a third also state they lean hard right on economic matters. Key here for this fight is totally economic: How is America going to look going forward, a gutless mediocre society based on “trickle up” handouts and dependency ruled by an entrenched elite with “correct” connections, or one that is a vanguard for human progress. This means the “sliver” that almost automatically opposes radicals controlling Washington discourse represents 52% of Americans. This is why Obama et al have to lie about everything from Afghanistan to Health Care.

Once Americans become fully aware of this little game Obama and his Politburo will be sent packing one way, or another. That is why Beck is under such pressure from the WH, they fear him more than the Taliban. Why they will sit down with Ahmadinejad’s looney tunes, but not use the red phone in Beck’s studio.

The difference is, MSNBC corrects factual mistakes and tries to be accurate. It does tend to agree with the current Administration.
Viewers of MSNBC (and other networks) who watch FOX would have steam coming out of their ears over the distortion and lies.
FOX tends to let mistakes go, they try to hide the fact by editing their transcripts after airing, and not only does it disagree with the Administration it seems to hate it. Viewers of Fox who watch MSNBC would not have steam coming out of their ears (except when Bill is shown up) they would simply not want to hear it and change the channel.

Who is Valerie Jarrett?

Characterized as “the other side of Barack Obama’s brain” by CBS News, Jarrett first met the Obamas seventeen years ago when she offered Michelle Obama a job. Since that time Jarrett has served as a very close advisor to both Obamas. While some have speculated that Jarrett is interested in taking Obama’s place in the U.S. Senate, the New York Times reported that it is more likely she will become a senior White House adviser. And that is terrible news.

Judicial Watch recently obtained documents linking Valerie Jarrett to a series of real estate scandals, including several housing projects operated by convicted felon and former Obama fundraiser Antoin “Tony” Rezko.

According to the documents, which we obtained from the Illinois Secretary of State, Valerie Jarrett served as a board member for several organizations that provided funding and support for Chicago housing projects operated by real estate developers and Obama financial backers Antoin “Tony” Rezko and Allison Davis. (You may recall that Davis is also Obama’s former boss.)

Jarrett was a member of the Board of Directors for the Woodlawn Preservation and Investment Corporation along with several Davis and Rezko associates, as well as the Fund for Community Redevelopment and Revitalization, an organization that worked with Rezko and Davis. Jarrett wrote of her support for Davis/Rezko projects, and was also one of the strongest supporters in revitalizing two struggling Chicago banks which later provided loans and mortgages for the Davis/Rezko housing projects.

And what sort of housing projects were Davis and Rezko operating? According to press reports, housing projects operated by Davis and Rezko have been substandard and beset with code violations. The Chicago Sun Times reported that one Rezko-managed housing project was “riddled with problems — including squalid living conditions…lack of heat, squatters and drug dealers.” Davis, meanwhile, was nailed for a code violation when sewage began to seep through electrical outlets in one of his low income apartment buildings.

Of course, Jarrett would have no issues supporting these kinds of housing projects. As Chief Executive Officer of the Habitat Company, Jarrett managed a controversial housing project located in Obama’s former state senate district called Grove Parc Plaza. According to the Boston Globe, the housing complex was considered “uninhabitable by unfixed problems, such as collapsed roofs and fire damage…In 2006, federal inspectors graded the condition of the complex an 11 on a 100-point scale – a score so bad the buildings now face demolition.” It is no stretch to say that she was a slumlord. Jarrett refused to comment on the conditions of the complex.

Valerie Jarrett is a product of the corrupt Chicago political machine. Washington already has plenty of corruption; we don’t need to import more of it from Chicago.

Most of you have my thoughts on this administration.. I am a Libertarian. I watch Fox news. I tried watching MSNBC to get both sides of the story. I felt like the shows i was watching on there were one sided and beat up the right. I am back watching Oreilly. He (in my opinion) shows both sides of the subject. Which to me is fair.
