"I would still have thought it right to remove him."

Tony Blair is right. We needed to remove him because he was where Iran is right now. Not cooperating with the international community, developing enriched weapons grade uranium, remember he had a stock pile the US military tried to dispose of in Nevada and the Democrats had a field day on the idea.

Operation Northwoods 2 (AKA 911) is what set it all up for Afganistan, Iraq and the Dollars conversion to World Bank notes and the USA moving under the World Court. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcGlQJNYxFc

AP Exclusive: U.S. Removes Uranium From Iraq

The last major remnant of Saddam Hussein’s nuclear program – a huge stockpile of concentrated natural uranium – reached a Canadian port Saturday to complete a secret U.S. operation that included a two-week airlift from Baghdad and a ship voyage crossing two oceans.

The removal of 550 metric tons of “yellowcake” – the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment – was a significant step toward closing the books on Saddam’s nuclear legacy. It also brought relief to U.S. and Iraqi authorities who had worried the cache would reach insurgents or smugglers crossing to Iran to aid its nuclear ambitions.

So what else is he going to say? “Bush and I made a horrible mistake by attacking and occupying Iraq. Thousands upon thousands of people have died, and hundreds of thousands have been left mutilated and injured.” ?

Get your facts straight, FastFacts. Before the attack, Saddam WAS cooperating with the UN. There were UN inspectors in Iraq, and they were inspecting any site the USA wanted inspected. There were no weapons of mas destruction, and more importantly, there was NO Al Qaeda activity in Iraq, before we destabilized that society. Saddam was horrible, but the war has been far WORSE for the Iraqi people.

Our best people have died for nothing over there. And the 700 billion we spent has been a total waste.

Careful choice of a headline, there. Shouldn’t it be “Blair supports the murder of [X number] of Brits to engage in an Unjustified War”?

tinfoilhat   December 12th, 2009 - 12:14 pm

James it was not a mistake. They did it to get rid of the Iraqi dollar and put them & there oil money into the UN bank system. It’s all one big giant plan. People wake up connect the new tyranny to the old tyranny. 911 was the start, your dollar going bye bye is the end game.

Tony Blair is right on.

Bottom line is, if President Bush HADN’T taken Hussein out — Sadaam, that is, not Obama, ahem — then the obtuse libs would be crying about that too.

Bubster   December 12th, 2009 - 1:05 pm

Tony Blair hates Obama’s guts….that’s why I like him so much.

maximinimus   December 12th, 2009 - 1:35 pm

Terry
I think your diaper is do for a change !

I’m British and this is the only thing I would agree with Blair on. How many UN resolutions was it going to take to get Saddam to abide by just ONE of them !

MagicMan   December 12th, 2009 - 1:41 pm

Saddam WAS the WMD. He was already proving to bank-roll terrorism in Israel with suicide bombers there. He had billions of US dollars and tons of incentive to fund countless 9/11s in this country.

If the left can’t think outside the box on this they will always be nothing more than fodder for terror attacks.

Haven’t heard the video yet, but if you check sadaam’s kids uda and whatevera were working on nuclear stuff and moved it to syria, then Israel blew up the building. Even the IAEA recently re-stated that they have found nuclear material there, but this time they said it was a much higher weapons grades (if I remember right) level. It’s all there to be found. Look for sadaams kids and syria plant and israel jets blew it up. So they most likely did have or were working on wmd’s.

Well I know I would have never believed what Bush said without years of Clinton and Gore blathering on and on about Iraq and WMDs. Hell Gore and Clinton ran the first time bagging on Bush Sr. for not finishing the job.

How many villages of women and children must be gassed, how many women must be raped, how many people must disappear in the night before something is done about evil tyranny? Do we let it happen because we don’t know their names? Not to mention Sodamn Insane’s financial support of terrorists and destabilization of the whole middle-east. Maybe we should have left Europe to Hitler. He never attacked us. If we had done something sooner, at least 6 million innocent lives might have been saved. Silence is complicity. Cowardice encourages tyranny.

R from ID   December 12th, 2009 - 2:14 pm

Refreshing. Congratulations, sir, on not being one of the many cowardice politicians.

Mark   December 12th, 2009 - 3:06 pm

Not very many brave people, like Blair, in Government, these days, but only cowards who hide behind spending tax money on falacy and delusional dreams, and can’t stand up for the change that is really needed ,like conservative thinking. 2010 can’t come soon enough.

SanFranciscoGo   December 12th, 2009 - 5:59 pm

The “United Nations” is a lovely name for a big corrupt, worthless trash can.

Sadam Hussein did not work with the “United Nations”, he was a pimp, he “pimped”
the “United Nations”.

For some reason the folks on the left think that a “magic wand” exists to solve all problems.
Sadam Hussein was bad, he killed Shites and destroyed their property and income in south east Iraq, he killed thousands of Kurds in northern Iraq and he fomented terror among neighboring countries by paying suicide bomber’s families for each “hit”.

Be cautious of anyone who can stand up to try justify evil.

Poor little lap dog Blair… There is not much left of this fool anymore.

Just like Bush failed America, Tony was the UK’s version of a disastrous leader. The present investigation will bring all this to light again ad nauseam…
