Wilson should not have apologized, but he was forced to by the Republican party. Wilson is a nice, extremely well educated guy who had just had enough of Obama’s lies. I think there comes a time in everyone’s life when they have had enough of something, and they finally speak up. Obama pointed his finger at Wilson, as if to indicate that he would get Wilson. I applaud the apology showing that the right accepts resposibilty when mistakes are made. I applaud the the Representative expressing his passion and knowledge that what the President was saying was not true – socially not the right place to do it. But even when he did, he saw his campaign contribution total surge by 500 percent and it’s still rising.

The message there, and in today’s massive and historic DC turnout, is that there is no astroturf coming from the conservative side.

Obama lies too much. He is still lying through his teeth in his media blitz! Scott wonders how Obama could ‘accept’ the apology with a straight face. How, indeed!?! He called everyone of us, who read and understood what was in HR 3200, liars for quoting the provisions of the proposed bill. Obama keeps repeating his denial that those items cited are not in “his bill.”

WHERE is his bill? He said in one of his numerous speeches to his cronies, the SEIU, AFL-CIO, ACORN, etc. that he allowed Congress (i.e. Nanny Pelosi) to create a bill to his liking. So the only written one, made available to the public (after much wrangling for Congress to honor their transparency pledge), is HR 3200.

Obama better come up with ‘his’ bill, and allow the public sufficient time (perhaps five years?)to read, discuss, rebut, revise, massage and digest it before he pushes for its passage. Remember, he made TRANSPARENCY a campaign pledge. There is no urgency in passing a healthcare reform bill. In fact this is the worst time to try and finagle with a working system. There is no money to fund it. We are broke. We cannot afford to go deeper in debt.
