Interview: Daily Caller Says Feds Refuse to Explain How Agent Injured Blogger

Daily Caller update as of 5:49PM Thursday: The State Department has refused to answer basic questions about an accident that took place in Washington on Wednesday night, in which a U.S. Diplomatic Security Service vehicle struck Daily Caller employee Sean Medlock as he was crossing the street. An agent in the vehicle, Mike McGuinn, did not identify himself to Medlock at the scene, or apologize for running him down. Indeed, Washington, D.C., police drove to a local emergency room to serve Medlock with a jaywalking citation as he lay prostrate in a hospital bed, while a man who identified himself as “special agent” stood by watching and taking notes.

hmmm…..what has Jim Treacher said that made the gov’t want to warn him?

I never read Jim before now-going to check him out regularly. Not only that, it now seems worthwhile to look retroactively at his comments.

I have seen this before. When there is a real hit, the people responsible are always there to see if the hit was effective or not. In this case, this was not meant to kill him, this was to scare him. A warning of things to come. I have been to funerals where people were there (in black clothes and sunglasses) to make sure a person was put in the ground and then left without comment. We have Chicago style politics showing itself in DC now.

Amy must be a blond bimbo just what Bill “Pantsless Bill” Clinton likes especially if she’s “chunky”…

Did they test the “special agents” blood alcohol level? Or was he allowed to leave the scene of the “accident”? hmmmmmmm………

Hey ‘Bunker”. My exact thoughts too when I watched this video. Chicago hit for sure!

.

Obama does not like the media criticizing him. I don’t see him using cars to mow people down. SEIU thugs with baseball bats is usual MO.
Jaywalking citation is cowardly – government just there to help you.

This administration has had more Security vehicular “events” than any other! What’s the deal with that? Remember all of the “events” with Biden’s security team? I think someone was actually killed in one of them!

New American Citizen Rule: Don’t walk around in D.C. with this administration in power.

My question is about the ” a man who identified himself as “special agent” stood by watching and taking notes.”

I work with medical information including patient identifiers. HIPPA does not allow me to disclose anything to anyone. I can understand the police officer showing up with the ticket as it was probably an ongoing event to the accident, the emergency transport to the hospital.

But the DC police had no legal reason to share the restricted Patient Health Information to another agency without a warrant and further to enter the hospital room.

They could go to his home but not the hospital.

He better go to a hospital outside of DC. I would not want to be put to sleep by any hospital that might be backed by Obama and his corrupt regime.
