Al-Qaeda is certainly loving it, the terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan will soon have free reign …. how long will we have to wait before they export their terror again and we have a repeat of 9/11?

I know some of these post-modern lit types, and if you combine that knowledge with an appreciation that William Ayers is from the Sal Alinsky school of “Rules for Radicals” it is easy to discern the tricks that he uses in this interview. He exaggerates and fudges by a numerical degree (using numbers in ways like ‘20 coffees’ and Barack knew ‘thousands’ of others to throw people off the scent). He uses the term “narrative” in a Nietzschean manner that suggest that the truth is negotiable in the minds of the subject. I don’t think he would like being interviewed by a real reporter who is wise to these clowns’ maneuvers and evasiveness. To figure guys like Ayers out: Read Alinsky, Gramsci’s “The Prison Notebooks,” and Chomsky’s “Propaganda in the Public Mind.” But it is also sufficient to note that he is a snake-oil salesman.

Would simply rather focus on the larger issue, of the President Elect’s rather sad lack of character and integrity (of course which, some of these explorations are indeed related).
Sometimes I even take a look at the gestalt, or even the superficial, rather than the atomic. To try and make sense of it all. In this case, should anything actually shake out? [now seems that there are indeed far too many skeletons in Barack's closet, for them all to remain static and cloistered (with new ones materializing every day)].
I’d tend to think it simply fits in with his hyper shallow libwuhl world view (hand in glove) …. “Register for the draft? You gotta be fookin kidding me ….. yeah, like that’s gunna to happen.”

why can’t someone compare some of the other forms from the same general time and see if the numbers are similar? For instance, other people who signed up in 08 would have a similar number at the top of the page – I’m assuming they are in some kind of chronological order. That would be hard to fake.

This comment demonstrates a naivete that puzzles me. If you are not a naif, then you sound like a sociopath. Who all went nuts about the crazy docs that Dan Rather drew up?
From whom does this man look different? He doesn’t look different from the people where I live. Decent people don’t falsify documents to evade federal law. The “Great Conspiracy” about Barak Obama is more of a media-based collusion.
Get a little curiosity. Why does this keep happening? B.O. is asked a question and he gives an answer. Later, he is found to have been misleading at best. Everyone blows it off as if his chacter is being unfairly questioned.
I understand that people are willing to put up with his chicanery. If his any means to an end philosophy is one which you share, so be it. Like “nervous” says above, obtain some of Obama’s classmates Selective Service registrations during the same time frame and compare. Until this is done, this is just pot stirring for it’s own sake. Oh yeah, and titillating blog traffic. If it turns out to be true you can still be a hero. If it turns out bogus it makes us all look like Tabloid Trashies.
Of course it is a fake. Since he is not a natural citizen and faked his certificate of birth he wouldn’t have registered since he was a citizen of Indonesia. Saying that this is not news it being greatly naive. Why doesnt’ 60 minutes pick up on this? I remember a false story about Bush’s military career that was good enough to show. His certificate of birth said that his race was African. They didn’t even use African for race type in the early 60’s. Wake up people.

In any case, both Selective Service and the FBI are always checking to hunt down registration scofflaws. It’s very unlikely they would miss this one. In addition, with all the researchers the Clinton team AND the RNC team had trying to dig up dirt on Obama, it is very unlikely they would miss this.

Hey, Clinton got away with rape and if you remember the NOW gang even punished members wanting to hold him to account. I never thought we’d have another Criminal In Chief but it looks like we just got stuck with the worst possible scenario. There’s nothing we can do about it but let people know. I keep coming across TV only viewers (as far as news) and they know nothing about any of this or of his agenda. They were just voting for ‘change’.

Anyone that thinks the government has a system in place to catch people that haven’t registered, think again. Sure, some jobs do check on your registration, but not if you’re elected into the Senate which is a travesty in itself. They have no more control over this than the IRS can audit every taxpayer. It doesn’t happen. The system we use is called good faith, which doesn’t amount to squat for a number of felonious types.
Is it possible to impeach Obama before he takes the oath of office? Because not only is this man not a citizen, but a pathological liar, who will do anything to be in power. Let the people arise and demand this guy produce all. and every document that pertains to his life. So we can get rid of him once and for all.

In listening to this I decided to do a little research myself. You come to the conclusion that the Daniel Amon that answered the question about this issue to Pajamasmedia.com was not working for the Selective Service but was, instead, just some contractor at a graphics company. However, this same person is interviewed in 2005 by the Washington Post as a representative of the Selective Service… Here’s that link:

You might want to mention that someone who fails to register by the age of 26 is ineligible for a job in the executive branch of the government. Look on the Selective Service website for the law….. plus 5 years in jail and $250,000 fine.
