Hey, he’s just a polite guy. He grew up partly in Asia where bowing is second nature. It’s like someone from our deep south addressing every woman as “Ma’am.” I’m just wondering, though, if he bowed to the Queen of England, or to Gordon Brown? For a polite guy, he seems to know how to insult some of our staunchest allies.

Mannerly bow. OK, good explanation, but still a bow. Does Obama have an inferiority complex? Did he bow to authority figures and women as a child?
