When I was in school in the 50s and 60s my teachers where all proud Americans…This would NEVER happen. WE said School prayers…We said the Allegiance to the Flag…We wore our Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts uniforms to school..We were taught about the great events in American history…we had Washington’s and Lincoln’s birthdays….we all watched the 1st astronauts take off on TV…we watched Davy Crockett and Father Knows Best on TV. WE were home when the lights came on..We showed respect for all older folks.
We went to Boy’s confession…and to Church on Sunday…We saluted the Flag. We were amazed when we saw the Military march in parades.We called our Dads “Sir”. We called our Teachers “Sir” and “Mame” or “Miss” if we did something wrong in school we got slapped on the hands…or got the belt at home.
We were taught to respect the Flag…America…Women…Family..Country…our teachers never gave us any reason to disrespect them at all.
Now…we have Socialist…Atheist…America Flag hating…Radical…Teachers like this one and thousands all across the country teaching anti-America propaganda..indoctrinating innocent minds into lives of Sin…bashing God…bashing the Constitution…Bashing America…propping up other countries and other political systems that are actually enemies of America….all with the support of their radical Unions…Superintendents…and School Committees…and Democrat politicians…and outside radical Unions and groups like La Raza and ACORN?SEIU and ACL-CIO…ACLU..and PLP..etc…

and that is exactly why my wife and I homeschool. And we’re the happiest we’ve ever been. We see all our siblings and friends that send their kids to public school and daycare every day and we see how miserable and sad they all look, and they hate us because of how happy our children are, but it doesn’t bother us. Stories like this just prove to us we are doing the right thing. And our school district in the area we decided to homeschool was “one of the best in the southern part of the state”…Who cares…
I hope we hear of more and more instances of this sort of tactic. They are opening a hornet’s nest that’s going to sting them big time. It’s going to be the thing that puts Obama out of office and Mexicans and any other hispanics who don’t embrace our systems and culture out of our country. This is the result of teaching Secular Humanism to teachers in college and for de-emphasizing American culture, values, borders ,and language. Everyone in the world has a valid cultural viewpoint except Americans. It is pretty obvious that the teaching establishment including administration has lost their minds and are the result of poor thought processes and knee jerk reactions. Common sense has been breed out of them. If you mention the word Christian in front of them the reaction is about the same as someone yelling Rapist in public. The food Nazis and administration officials , just last week, gave a young child 2 weeks of detention for eating a Jolly Rancher candy at lunch time.
This is an example of why i took my kids out of public school years ago. They were home schooled for years and now attend a small Christian High School at great expense since I am paying a double tuition bill. Progress will not be made until the NEA is decertified by Congress.

Fire the teacher in front of the class as to mirror the teacher’s actions with the child. This event does not need to be “covered up,” the children need to see that we do live in America and that radical opinions like the opinion of this teacher have no place in public schools. You can disagree with the government or many other situations in our country–but it is STILL America.

I am a teacher, and I’m truly offended with this garbage – that teacher should be fired! I am also a future college professor, working on my PhD, and I correct anti-Americanism whenever I hear it – especially with a teacher at my school. He teaches history, and during a research project, he told Texas high school students that ‘al Jazeera’ was the most credible news source students could find. I immediately stepped in and discounted everything he said, in front of the HS students!
It’s only okay if it is a Mexican flag or a UN flag.

As an Officer in the United States Army, I find it more and more difficult to wear this uniform knowing that I am a defender of American’s rights to free speech because I am also a defender, unfortunately, of some American’s right to open their mouths!

First of all may I say, the child’s drawing of Old Glory is a great example of American Folk Art and I will download it, frame it and hang it on my wall. Definitely an A+ Grade…
