I’m not a fan of the tea parties.
The organization seems to be a primarily partisan
anti-Obama group that fronts as a pro-Constitution
party. That said, the group should have a right to protest.
Also , to be fair, from what I can tell Obama is just
continuing more of what the elites openly like to call the New World
Order. More for them and less for us.
Unfortunately freedom in America is over. We live under
fascism, and we have done for some time. The Patriot Acts
just took things to a whole other level.
Many Republicans might have thought it was funny
when anti-war protesters were herded into “Free Speech
Zones.” Well, by allowing that to happen, we crossed
a threshold.
Now Homeland Security shows up when people protest, whether
the protesters are on the right or the left politically. In fact
any form of protest is now considered low-level terrorism.
That’s tyranny. That’s fascism. I would imagine it will
be harder in the future for fathers to tell their sons to
go fight for freedom with a straight face, knowing what we
are all coming to know now. America may be about many things,
but increasingly, freedom is no longer one of them.
Protest somewhere else!: Don’t you just hate it when American citizens exercise their Constitutional rights? And don’t you just hate it that others are starting to wake up and realize what a colossal mistake they made in voting in the current administration? It is clear that the socialist of Rhode Island have not heard of the equal protection clause of the constitution. They have a right to set standards for their parade but they must require ALL groups meet these same standards. They cannot impose a different set of standards/rules to one group because they do not agree with them. The leadership/organizers of this parade must be removed from their position of power due to this blatant political bias and abuse of power to silence those whom they do not agree.
