Federal officials identified the man as Andrew Speaker, a 31-year-old personal injury attorney in practice with his father in Atlanta. Speaker knew he had TB when he flew from Atlanta to Europe for his wedding and honeymoon, officials said Thursday. Once there, Speaker learned it was an extensively drug-resistant strain and against warnings from officials, flew back to the States for treatment. Speaker is the first tuberculosis patient under the first federal quarantine since 1963.
