Anarchists doing damage to public property and marching without a permit can’t be compared to people going to town halls, or staging a peaceful protest with a permit. The 9/12 protest was over 1 million strong and their were no arrests. In fact the protestors left Washington, DC at least as clean as they found it.
Steve, the comparison isn’t the protesters but the coverage of the protesters by the left leaning media.
The left does have reason to be scared of the Tea Parties – as does the right, only they don’t know it yet.

I agree somewhat, the Pittsburg stuff was a gigantic cluster.. er screw on all sides and while the anarchists did need to be taken care of, the Police response was well over the top. Far far too many bystanders got caught up in the retaliation, and it really did seem like the Pittsburg PD were going out of their way to seem like a bunch of thugs out of 1984 or some other dystopia. It was bad down here in Miami, but not this bad, and the fact that the cops ended up tear gassing student housing areas there was no excuse for.
From everything I have seen, much of the crowd might have been liberal and clueless, but it was a minority that was actually violent. The police chief, or who ever was in charge of the op needs to be reprimanded or fired. It is atrocious that many innocents, who were doing nothing but being curious ended up being gassed. On the other hand the anarchists are also pretty evil, one can tell that their whole goal was to create an overreaction, and they didn’t care how many innocents were caught up in it. Even with that provocation that was no excuse for the actions of the police.
Oh I so wanted to do this. I was going to make a comparison video of the March on DC and the G20 but with no time to spare and no money for the right software, it just wasn’t going to happen. But this is the point that should be made from this. Look at the right wing extremists protesting, so peaceful the DC Officials were amazed and the left-wing G20 Protests and the stir they made with the city. Why are we called the extremists and under this president put on terror watch lists. Sorry if they know anything about history they would know that we are the passive protesters while the left, the anti-war protesters are the violent and in your face crowd. They are the young to middle age when the right are middle to upper age, we had old people in wheel chairs and they had people causing vandalism. So Obama’s Administration, get a clue…

So why would it be news that the MSM covered and sympathized with all the violent Anarchists in Pittsburgh and nothing close to what happened at all the tea party Events…like reporting that 1.7 million where in DC a few weeks ago…or tat 98% were regular respectful folks who see through Obama and the Democrats and the lies they push…they even called us all Racists and reported on Jimmy Carter and others who have this outrageous claim of racism if you are against Obama’s policies.

It has come to the point that there are only a few news outlets I can really trust, Fox, Breitbart, and Drudge are the top by far. If you compare all the stories and trully look from the middle, these groups cover the facts better than the rest, unfortunatly many people refuse to be “confused with the facts”!

Sonic weapons or long-range acoustic devices were used on the G20 protesters.This has been used by the US military overseas, notably against Somali pirates and Iraqi insurgents.Police used tear gas, dogs, and full riot gear.
If the Government opposed the Corporate Sponsored Tea Parties, I am sure we would have seen these in Washington D.C. two weeks ago, right.

Fox news, only one doing legit reporting on the tube. Otherwise it’s the internet: Drudge, BB, instapundit etc. When a pair of untrained 20 year old kids can scoop ABC, NBC, CBS, NY Times MSNBC, CNN and the Washington Post, you know it’s time for the liberal news media to quit. Oddly, the people these so-called news outlets serve–ideologically–barely read anyhow. The highly literate conservative community have canceled their subscriptions and now the free press is looking to be shackled, via a government bailout. They call more than 1.5 million at a rally in D.C.; thousands. Talk about the “dark undercurrents” in the crowd.

Uh, hate to tell you this, but your own footage doesn’t show a single act of protester violence. It’s all coming from the police, including smoke and tear gas, baton strikes and that sonic weapon. Most of the “protesters” appear to actually be reporters filming and documenting, so there should be plenty of material. If you want me to believe they’re worse than the teabaggers, you really should find some better footage.
In the end, the teabagger protest is more important, and so deserve more coverage: the G20 protests are simply to get attention, and have no chance of actually changing policy, while the teabagger protests do actually have a chance of changing policy – after all, that’s what the townhall meetings were for: to get feedback.

hmmm,…..notice the G20 protesters all wearing hoods and masking their faces. I don’t recall seeing that at the tea parties, or the town halls.

If Fox is so desperately trying to co-opt the libertarians, why take this stance? This is just further supportive of arguments that Beck, et al, at Fox are shills to co-opt the movement against more and more govt. Whether your freedoms are trampled by jackboot thugs on the left-side (of the video), or legislated away on the right-side (of the video) it’s still a trashing of the Constitution and a violation of the oaths these baton wielding or pen wielding mercenaries took. Either way, they’re following orders, and those orders are “get the American people in line.”
