Here is the complete text of the interview excerpt plus what was cut off by Breitbart. The President is saying we are not getting a good deal in spite of the fact that we are no less healthy and may even start out a bit more healthy:
“We pay 77 percent more on prescription drugs, we’re paying $6,000 more per individual on health care than any other industrialized nation; here’s all the failures in the delivery system that account for it. It’s not just because we are somehow more obese or more unhealthy. It turns out actually we’re a little bit healthier than most of these other countries because our smoking rates are lower and we’re younger. So we should actually be paying less than they are. And when you just start hearing the litany of facts, what you say to yourself is this shouldn’t be such a hard case to make, because the American consumer is really not getting a good deal.”
It’s the same message, we spend more and don’t get our money’s worth. Same as the speech.
He is asking the question, why should we pay more than other countries? We are no less healthy. So why are the people who need the care the most getting screwed and why are we all paying so much more? If we are healthier (because of good habits) and we are statistically younger we should pay even less than other countries. But he is not connecting “healthier” with our current healthcare system. Our current system is making people unhealthy and in fact killing people by refusing to pay for critical care in favor of profits. It’s the same message. Nice try but remember almost anything can be easily verified and a biased edit will reveal your dishonesty.

This is no surprise. Remember Obama made up the situation that Sasha had meningitis. NY Times broke that story that his daughter never had it. He made up the story about the man who couldn’t get chemo because his ‘insurance found out he didn’t report gallstones. Wall Street Journal cracked this case that the man’s insurance was reinstated. Obama needs to learn to tell the truth, but then again why, most people will never learn that he is a proven liar of the worse type.
