I think someone needs to teach Obama who actually started to destroy this economy. If you want to argue, then lets say Bush did start it, Obama has pushed it farther into destruction even faster. Plus Economics 101 says that there will be a recession every five +/- years. It held strong for 6-7 years this session and economists were saying that this time it would hit harder. So Bush began to use socialistic economics to try to fix it, Obama multiplied this effort by 10 times and now we have 9.4% and possibly 10% unemployment, four quarters of negative GDP, and a $1.3 trillion dollar budget deficit. Many are people that even voted for him. I had a Tea Party on Long Island two times and both times we had a mix of Republicans, Independents, and Democrats and representatives from each of their parties out with us. I wish we had more minorities but farther down the island had a mix of nationalities as well. The mix of political affiliates came to a surprise to me, who was the sponsor, that we would receive so much support from his own supporters. I gotta laugh. I saw this coming over a year ago and people told me I was crazy. Now the unions are becoming Obamas brownshirts. How many companies have the unions destroyed, how many kids have grown up illiterate because of the teachers union?
They are going to hand us a reason to ban or at least weaken unions when the right takes power again.

My question, why are union members even showing up at the healthcare town hall meetings? The unions are supposedly exempt from the healthcare plan remember. Why isn’t anyone asking that question? They are there to stir up trouble and that is bottom line.
Actually, you can tie in card check with the healthcare plan if you think about it. Why you say, because if union members are exempt from the healthcare plan, most workers who do not want to particiate in the healthcare plan will go back to their employers and push for a union so they can be exempted from the government plan and it builds union membership at the same time. Once passed, the only way out of the government HC plan is to either die or become a member of a union.
