This incident exemplifies the need for aggressive CAR CONTROL legislation. Cars kill children…and puppies; therefore, everyone should have to receive a psychological evaluation, a background check, and a permit before purchasing a car. Additionally, there should be a five-day minimum waiting period before the potential car owner (i.e. potential mass murderer) is allowed to take possession of a car (i.e. killing machine). The car-show loophole needs to be closed, and a national registry of car owners should be organized. Some cars, such as full-size pickups, SUVs, and vans; are particularly lethal; therefore, an Assault Car Ban should be considered. Finally, cars should be banned outright in large cities, such as Washington D.C. and Chicago.
