hello. i am not surprised that the prez must begin enlisting future forces to win the unwinnable fight against God praising Americans. the department of education is a cesspool of employees: too incompetent to work honest jobs. the education policy has been leaning towards socialism, and the universal initiative does need to be abolished; but what concerns Americans is that: no majority of parents- no minority of parents- invited the prez to speak to their children. that protocol must seem silly to officials of the order, but it is no small breach of personal etiquette. the children go to a public school, but the government does not own the children. perhaps continuing this type behavior, will result in school reform. all those over paid administrators, in their overlapping districts, unresponsive to parental wishes: will be back on the welfare lines where they belong. the department of education will be closed. God will be allowed back into the classroom, and the children may again enjoy education.
Conservatives must have really stupid kids if they honestly believe their children will be converted into Marxists by listening to one 20 minute speech by President Obama on the importance of working hard in school.
Of course, since the South contains the majority of conservatives in this country, as evidenced by their Congressional delegations, we already know that these stupid kids have really stupid parents.

No matter what political party is in office, you should respect the office of the presidency. I’m a Democrat who disagreed with much (but not *all*) of what Bush Sr. and Bush Jr. did while in office. However, I always supported their leadership. I never stooped to calling them names and making outrageous unfounded claims about them. Instead of continuously bitching about our leaders, why don’t you get off your asses and do something positive to HELP people in your own neighborhood or state. Be a good person and work hard you little crybabies. Life will work out.

Please! Bush was in ONE school on 9/11/01! He was not broadcasting nationally over TV or the internet to ALL schools. Apples to oranges comparison. Anyway, there’s nothing wrong with a message to “stay in school”. However, what else will Mr. Obama say to OUR kids? Without any parental prescreening or participation, he wants total access to our kids. I say “NO” unless or until I know ahead of time exactly what will be said. Until then, butt out!
