Shuttle Endeavour Blasts Off for Space Station

The New York Times: Clouds again encroached, but there were enough holes to allow the Endeavour to lift off on schedule at 4:14 a.m., a bright streak rising to the northeast along the East Coast. It was the 130th launching of a shuttle and likely the last night launching as the program winds down and ends after another four flights.

One of the last remaining things working in the US. When it breaks it will be the symbolic turning point as we slide in to post-Soviet Russia status – all resources spent serving Israel like slaves.

It was an awesome sight. Too bad the Communist in Chief would rather reach into our pockets than reach into space. The US broke barriers in space exploration that many believed could not be broke. Now he wants to gas the entire program. What a fool. So we will now spend millions renting taxis into space as opposed to millions driving ourselves. I’m no financial analyst, but isn’t that a bit redundant?

Well we have the first ever president who prefers that america ride in the back seat. Won’t it be nice hitcing a ride with the Russians and Chinese. At what point did America change so much that we would willing place out space exploration hopes in the hands of the communists. All they have to say after we can no longer get there ourselves is “sorry america you nuts, all out flights are booked.” This alone should be grounds for impeaching our president. Oh but wait Russia and China Promised to let us ride in the back of their bus. We are going to have NASA prove AL gore is a visionary. God help the USA.

I’m glad I woke up to see the last “night” flight of the space shuttle program. It was an awesome sight even from 100 miles inland!

Steve in Phoenix: Yes, God help the USA under this course we are on!
