The veracity is easily checked by employment records of these two women. I suspect they are 100% legitimate Acorn employees and, yes, they will be going to jail.

I would not have published this yet if I was the investigators. One instance of a crime is not an indictment of the entire organization. It needed to be established that these Acorn offices are merely franchise operations to perpetuate criminal activity. Further, they would need to also investigate whether the leadership of Acorn were aware of the activities. If the investigators could have thought it through, they probably could have asked for Acorn’s legal adviser to set-up a corporation or trust for the remaining “contract employees/exchange students” and ensnared the legal adviser as well. Once lawyers are hooked, they have a tendency to drop dime on the structure.

I think the investigators never imagined that this was as successful as it was and were happy with what they received. My only concern is that the FBI was not brought in first prior to releasing the videos. This may interfere with ongoing investigations.

But then again, maybe this was a one off occurrence (but I doubt it). These ladies looked a little too familiar with the situation.

Nice calculation: $8000/month x 12 months = $9000…and you can take expenses of about $7000 or $8000 from that. “Just increase your profit each year on your tax return by $100 and you’ll be okay”

I think these videos are a setup. The video quality is too good to be from a pinhole or hidden camera. Audio quality is also too good. It is also unbelievable that they would have offered the advise that they did. This would apply for tax evasion and prostitution, along with underage prostition. The timing of this coming out is also weird considering that this week Van Jones was let go. To put it in a nutshell, this looks like an act, and if that is the case then it could have ramifications for conservative media. This could even turn Glenn Beck, who I do enjoy watching, into the next Dan Rather.
