Look, I'm all for justice if in fact this women is racist, which the video we saw shows. However, if there is video out there showing how she was using that story as an anecdote to show how she indeed approached her work with disregard to race, using that story as her "ah ha!" moment I want to see it. I want the truth and until I see her side I can't make a judgement. If she is in fact telling the truth then it speaks even more about the poor behavior of NAACP and the White House.

Take a look at the inconsistencies of the statement of why the gov needed to sue arizona (discrimination) vs. why they actually sued them (bogus claim that it will impede enforcement of what amounts to the same law already on the books)

Take a look at the deep water drilling… Immediate response to the media fallout, the the disaister itself, was to place a moratorium on deep water drilling. By stopping other operations they'd be able to appear diligent and conservative in their response to help prevent further loss of life and environmental pollution, but the problem is the science doesn't back that up. So they took the report from the experts, and they modified it to support conclusions the experts explicitly disagreed with, and they got caught.

And what happened when they got caught? They said "We'll think of another way to do what we want to do" and off they went to sue again… It wouldn't have been a big deal if they had said they were going to do it because the experts said it was the way to be safe but that wasn't what it was about, it was about getting in front of the "narrative" and making it seem like they're busy.

I suspect the administrations now documented rush to disavow this woman who may have legitimately not done anything wrong may end up being the bigger story than the NAACP speech, as it shows truly how ruthless these people are and how willing they are to disown card carrying members of their administration at the drop of the "This could potentially be bad PR" hat

1) Something tells me this "video" will never show up.
2) IF it does, it will probably prove to be tampered with/edited.
3) What does this say about the administration's ability or willingness to look at evidence before making judgements? Not much, especially since we all remember that Obama doesn't need to know about a situation before he makes a decision about who acted "stupidly".

the tale she told at the banquet happened 24 years ago — before she got the USDA job — when she worked with the Georgia field office for the Federation of Southern Cooperative/Land Assistance Fund.

Sherrod said the short video clip excluded the breadth of the story about how she eventually worked with the man over a two-year period to help ward off foreclosure of his farm, and how she eventually became friends with the farmer and his wife.

This incident she is describing happened 24 years ago people! She is relating it to say she was wrong and feels differently today.

if you bother to find out the whole story, and hear the whole speech, what she says is she has learned since then that she was wrong in her attitude back then, that is the whole point of her telling of this incident in the speech.
