I just don’t think Palin can handle pressure the way that a good leader should be able to. I am sure that Democrats would love to have her run (and lose) three times. That would mean another Obama term followed by two Biden or Hillary terms. Unless you like that idea, I would push for Mitt, Pawlenty, or Huckabee to step up. They at least have a shot.

I would like to find a GOP ticket that I can support again. A Romney/Pawlenty ticket looks very good…especially if the economy does not come back by 2012.

The reason that John drew as many votes as he did was because his staff bottled up Palin and kept her buried as much as possible. The fact is that a lot of Republicans and Independents stayed away from McCain because of her. Can you imagine what an unfettered Palin would have said and done? This is her biggest problem. Sooner or later she is going to have to answer some substantive “gotcha” questions without looking stupid. For her that will be a real challenge!

For the rest of you…what would you rather have…another four years of Obama/Biden or Romney/Pawlenty?
