“Mr. President: T’was the night before Christmas

It was the night before Christmas, and all through the Senate
The right held up our health care bill, because NO ONE knows what is in it
The people had NOT voted for this type of mandated reform
But Republicans battened the hatches for the gathering storm
We have to stop up the Senate, they cried things are grim
And in the midterm elections, let’s get conservatives in
Everyone knows regular folks needed help right this second
But for the Democrats a great crisis beckoned
So try as they might, Democrats just could not win
Then the greedy Democrats cried, Let the PAYOFFS BEGIN!!
Then across every state there rose such a clatter
The whole senate rushed out to see what was the matter
All sprang up from their desk and ran from the floor
Straight through the cloakroom and right out the door

And what in the world would be quite so raucous?
But a mandate for change from the Leftist Democrat caucus
So a great pile of crap came from that clown Max Bacsus
Had answered the call in our hour of GREED
More rapid than eagles, the payoffs they came
And they whistled and shouted and called them by name
On Nelson, on Landfill, On Dodd just to name but a few
Unaccountable options. We screamed, “Yes, we CON” and the spittle it flew!
No exclusions or changes for preexisting conditions
Let’s pass a bill that will cause single payer, alright?
The Democrats all came together after the bribing to fight
For the SCREWING of the American people that Christmas Eve night

And then like a tinkle, I took under the dome
The roll call was closed, and it was time to go home
Despite the brave tactics the Republicans lost
The filibuster was broken, so screw the taxpayer they’ll pay the ‘real’ cost!
And a GREAT PUTRID bill was ready for President Obama
Ready to sign and end health care drama
Democrats explained as their private jets flew out of sight
Screw you suckers, rationed coverage for all, ESPECIALLY our friends on the right.”

Why isn’t anyone aware that the problems with the Senate HC bill were caused by Conservative Amendments? And, there is no bill for the President to sign until after the House Bill (which happens to be strong for the average tax-payer) and the Senate Bill (which happens to be totally watered down by Conservative Dems and Republicans) are merged. Anyone who is opposing change and reform in the HC system in this country is completely out of their mind and they need to fact check the conservative ramblings of the media and insane congress people that are spewing out lies about what is really going on. Outside of the banking industry and military industrial complex, the HC industry is next in line as the MOST corrupt industry in the world.
Get your facts straight, and don’t believe all of the opinions and lies that are spread through main stream media!
