Sell out Durbin is demanding that Senator Coburn should have to explain praying that a democrat grows a conscience. The liberals are out of control. Oh, I see what Durbin is insinuating. He’s inferring that Colburn was suggesting that we pray that an unhappy accident befalls one of the ‘Yea’ voters. Well, nervous nelly – you can just stop the hysterics right there. Colburn meant for people to pray that a Democrat cannot ultimately bring himself to vote for such a travesty of a bill – that’s it. That’s obvious to anyone with half a brain and a bit of conscience. But, we are talking about Democrats here, who generally have neither [although I think Durbin knows exactly what Colburn meant]. I have an idea. Why pray for bad things to happen? Why not just pray for continued good health, happiness, and employment for yourself, your family, and your friends? Isn’t that what Christ would have wanted? I thought that this was His whole message.

Republicans and Conservatives do not have a monopoly on God’s ear. Neither do Democrats or Progressives. Bible thumpers have the same influence with the Lord as do those facing Mecca in prayer. Just pray that God’s will be done, whatever it is. No one side’s prayers are any more valid than the other’s. Just saying.
