Some jokes are told and some just walk in the door

tommyd   April 8th, 2010 - 1:24 am

Why do we continue to re elect senile old fools to public office?

I call for a bill to be introduced mandating forced retirement by age 65.

Specter lost his mind long ago.

Pa opinion   April 8th, 2010 - 4:58 am

The rude, senile fool is right. We’ll have to remind him in Nov where his car is parked when he leaves for good…just in case he forgets.

He’ll be a danger to himself and others and I’m glad I’ll be nowhere near him when he’s driving away!!

Hey Arlen do us all a favor and GO AWAY!!!! What a worthless turd!

mike gino   April 8th, 2010 - 9:28 am

Arlen (is that a girl’s name?) and Harry Reid are conducting nightly seances trying to contact Ted Kennedy to find out what hell is like.

Wanda   April 8th, 2010 - 9:28 am

Do you think he got confused since he was a repub then switched to a dem…… or could he be trying to fool the people into thinking hes switched again to a repub. I agree I think they should be made to retire at 65, seems alot of their minds are gone by then for the ones that have a mind.

Barry   April 8th, 2010 - 9:33 am

I’m moving to PA this month and can’t wait to do my part to help vote Specter out of office this year!

LizardLips   April 8th, 2010 - 9:33 am

Time to quit or get fired, sir.

DoubleU   April 8th, 2010 - 9:36 am

Hey… everyone is pissed at the democrats, maybe he is thinking of switching back to the republicans.

Calvin&Hobbes   April 8th, 2010 - 9:56 am

He jumped the gun, Arlen Specter was thinking it was already next year; when he’ll be re-joining the Republican Party.

FastFacts   April 8th, 2010 - 9:58 am

I think his old age is getting to him. This type of thing happens a lot for him also because he went against his own beliefs so he could stay in power. How evil does a man have to be to sell his soul like Specter did. How can you go from Moderate Republican, standing up against most Democrat issues to someone that stands for everything the Democrat Party gives you. He has voted party like 99% of the time since he switched over. Sad man.

http://www.americanparchment.com shows that he is not having a very good run for his election. From the Sustak-White House Scandal to the fact that Dems just don’t trust him.

Rexter   April 8th, 2010 - 10:03 am

“Team” is right. Same meaningless distinction. Time to vote 3rd party.

Norm   April 8th, 2010 - 10:05 am

What do you expect from the man that gave us the “Magic Bullet Theory” in the Kennedy assassination?

testicular man   April 8th, 2010 - 10:20 am

Hahahahahahhaaaa, what a doofus!

too many lies to keep track of in his head?   April 8th, 2010 - 10:26 am

some physical beings age mentally and physically more quickly than others.
this man also voted against healthcare on TWO different occassions and had to be corrected.
with all due respect, is it possible he needs watching in order to get the help he needs?
the earlier the help he gets the better his prognosis for a good and healthy future.

who knows he just might need certain medication to keep him alert. if its more serious i
hope he recognizes it is time for him to step down.

memorable quotes   April 8th, 2010 - 10:28 am

“harry reid isnt even the question, much less the answer.”

perhaps this is timed to shame him. God works in mysterious ways.
on a public stage he exposes his inadequacy to do the job? a fitting think, i say.
yes, God does have a sense of humor.

2010 coming right at ya   April 8th, 2010 - 10:29 am

harry reid is 15 points behind in Nevada.
enough said!

ayn rand   April 8th, 2010 - 10:38 am

as many times as he as changed parties it is a easy mistake to make. He should join the socialist party of America. They would greet him open arms.

HaHa   April 8th, 2010 - 10:46 am

If Rexter wants you to vote 3rd party you know it’s a BAD IDEA.

temple62   April 8th, 2010 - 10:51 am

This chameleon simply doesn’t know what side he is on. He does know that idiots will continue to vote for him and give him a payday! Such a stellar example of a gaffe master. Look out Joe Biden you are losing the stage!

G-man   April 8th, 2010 - 10:57 am

Vic   April 8th, 2010 - 11:03 am

Well, in his mind, whenever he’s talking to a group of white voters, I guess he just assumes they are republicans.

Dan33   April 8th, 2010 - 11:04 am

…that’s easy. His head is so far up his bum that he can see what he just ate for dinner….

Fran L   April 8th, 2010 - 11:51 am

Go college Democrats, you endorse a guy that cannot even keep who he is striaght. While he is telling stories to you, ask him one question. Ask him to name a person that is on welfare and has created jobs for anyone. With you Democrats it is all about keeping people down by just giving them enough to make sure they continue to vote Democratic. You know, dont cut off the hand that feeds you. But you all keep up the good work and vote for these nuts.

Eileen for Freedom/Liberty   April 8th, 2010 - 11:58 am

America…one ‘turncoat’ Republican down…two more to go (Snowe and Collins)!

DEMAND THE RELEASE OF OBAMA BACKGROUND RECORDS NOW!   April 8th, 2010 - 12:10 pm

Do you still believe there is a substantive difference between the DNC & RNC…Do these politicians or any of the media talking heads know anything about the BASIS of LAW in the USA:
Casus omissus et oblivioni datus dispooitioni communis juris relinquitur (A case omitted and forgotten is left to the disposal of the common law).
The core problem with ALL of these corrupt politicians and these in-the-back-pocket talking heads in the media (all of them including those on the left, center, right) is they are all complicit to the massive fraud involving Obama and Pelosi, and the fact there is NOT ONE PIECE OF EVIDENCE IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN THAT SUPPORTS OR SUBSTANTIATES OBAMA WAS ELIGIBLE TO BE POTUS. Do you believe for one minute these corrupt con-artist do not know or understand this fact? To OMIT, under the LAW, is the same as to LIE or carry out FRAUD.
Further to this, the facts involving OBAMA’s FATHER are known to ALL, yet these talking heads (et al. TV, Radio, internet, print), and the MEDIA CONGLOMERATES that own them, OMIT these facts. The game of the day is DISTRACTION, constant never ending DISTRACTION. These talking heads hope that you will not wake up and notice THAT THEY HAVE TOGETHER, ALL OF THEM, OMITTED THE TRUTH (under the law = THEY LIE).

April 8, 2010 – Republicans Lead In Pennsylvania Senate

Republican Pat Toomey is back on top 46 – 41 percent over Sen. Arlen Specter

http://www.quinnipiac.edu/x1284.xml?ReleaseID=1442&What=&strArea=;&strTime=0

my question..who’s the idiotic 41%?

MommyPatriot   April 8th, 2010 - 12:22 pm

Arlen Specter is not typical of 65 year old men, although he is typical of a career politician that has changed his stance, and party, so many times for political gain, that he has no idea who he is or what he stands for. This has nothing to do with age…he was a moron when he was 25, 45, and now 65.

Forced retirement? Most of our presidents where in their late 50’s when elected and our best president of the last century was Ronald Reagan, who was 69 when he took office.

What ever happened to respecting wisdom and experience? My grandfather was one of the smartest, common sense people I knew, and I would be aghast at someone forcing him to do something, such as retire, at any age! Red China is not exemplary in most ways, but the Chinese people’s cultural belief in respecting their elders and valuing what they say is something the young Obamanites don’t understand because they thing they know it all.

Here we are, doomed to repeat history because the Obamanites, cannot pickup a book and discover real history or talk to someone who lived through the turmoil of communist, socialist, Marxist regimes and learn. They are too busy tweeting and calling Tea Partiers (the only real hope for America) names.

Please help us all   April 8th, 2010 - 12:26 pm

Dear Lord, please give Americans the wisdom to vote against these corrupt, ignorant, and dangerous politicians before this great country that you created for us is lost.
Amen

jeff   April 8th, 2010 - 12:41 pm

Ya this guy is either senile or just plain power drunk to the point it’s like any unmanageable addiction. Seems that’s how all these folks are Dems or Repubs….but dems seem to have an incredibly more debased sense of morality relating to it all.

LK   April 8th, 2010 - 1:15 pm

Now they can say the health care reform bill got bipartisan support.

Specter is a stupid muthe”MUFFIN”ker.

Senator Specter has always reminded me of the barber on Andy Griffith’s Mayberry show – Howard Sprague. Their voices are nearly identical. Maybe Specter missed his calling…A barber in a sleepy Southern town!

Edword   April 8th, 2010 - 4:05 pm

Ummmm, Mr Elmer Fudd–you switched from Warner Brothers to Hanna Barbara.

R from ID   April 8th, 2010 - 5:40 pm

Ramble, ramble, and ramble…

Nothing has changed. Arlen didn’t know what team he was on before either.

Citizens of PA, do you really want this guy to represent you?

jason   April 8th, 2010 - 6:06 pm
