yes the insurance company is that bad ..SO BEAT IT . And now i can’t see a doc because i can’t afford insurance.and don’t tell me go to the local clinic which is free , It so distgusting and gross i can’t believe we live like that here in america.
i went to Canada 2 summers ago sprain my ankle, went to the hospital it was so refreshing to see no one was BARKING at me to see a healthcard upfront ,they were more concern about my health, you can eat of their hosptial floors its so nice and clean, i guess their universal care is soo awful ,
Their problem is a shortage of docs that have nothing to do with what system they use, if they swith to our system tommorow they still will have a shortage , but they are taking steps to address that.
All that said their care is top of the line .

I find it interesting that all but one of the 20 highest taxed countries are European Socialist countries and all 20 have “better healthcare than the United States”. You’d better decide quickly if government subsidized healthcare is worth having the government in control of your life from cradle to grave.
Another thing, the healthcare systems in those countries operate on the premise that when you are young you will not need much healthcare so you have a false sense of security that you have a safety net to fall back on when you get old or seriously ill. Wait and see what happens when you start getting older and need more medical care than the government is willing to provide. The government is NOT going to pay for everything like you think it will.

Just like a liberal, you are showing only the convenient stats. Your list of countries with the best healthcare is from a WHO survey in 2000 almost a decade ago which can be easily googled! They no longer do the survey because of the complexity. You also fail to recognize the categories in the evaluation. The U.S. ranks FIRST in responsiveness and health expenditure per capita; pretty impressive considering the U.S. is about equal in population to the entire Euoropean Union. The categories that drop the U.S. so low on the list are Fairness in Financial Contribution (54-55) whatever that means and overall level of health (72). As you know the U.S. is one of the most gluttonous countries in the world. Level of health should not even be a factor in a discussion of quality of healthcare received.
