Nothing progressive in that. (Of course, I believe in Reformation, not Progression. If you look at Physics, the only progressive force is Entropy. Progressiveness means slowing fading into the murk of death. Reformation means one leap at a time into a world where there is an almost 100% chance your children won’t die before they’re ten. (Of course, because of Abortion, 1 out of every 3 potentially successful births is slaughtered at the hands of some rich doctor with a vial of saltwater in his hands or some pliers to rip the baby apart—literally.)
All this means is that your company can decide not to hire you because they don’t want to drive up their insurance. Maybe if you get insurance companies dissolved, (as far as I can figure out, they actually cost more than merely paying for your hospital bills; its kind of like expecting to win millions in Las Vegas, with the only difference is that you only get millions by having a near-death experience, and you don’t get to spend the money, anyway) then this would work.

That’s odd! The only people I know who would consider, as I said, suing someone a great solution to their problems are LIBERALS. You realize that two thirds of everyone living at the height of the Roaring Twenties would fall short of the LOWEST standard of living in this country? I may be exaggerating JUST A LITTLE, but not that much! The reason there are still poor people here are because of restrictions on the economy keeping integration of the high class and low class into the middle class from happening. That, and there is the fact that government housing projects for the homeless have been immense failures. Just take P.J. O’Rourke’s relating his visit to a free housing project (where the iron caging had been ripped from the aluminum lights, and where whenever they evict someone, they immediately weld their enormous metal doors shut with out even clearing out one scrap of junk, meaning the insect population of the room went souring into numbers more numerous than the grass blades in my lawn (though that’s not a lot), so that when they cut the door back open…well, its not a pretty sight.) And he talked to some vigilantes about welfare mothers given free housing which pretty much turns into “girlfriend farms” for drug lords. [sarcasm]Yup, if we had socialism in this country, we could all be dating rich drug lords right now.[/sarcasm]

1) Despite popular misconception, the Republican party has ALWAYS been the Republican party–meaning that it was, yes, Liberals, who primarily ran slave plantations. (Do keep in mind that if popular misconception is true, than that would mean that FDR was an avid Conservative. Democrats did hold the Southern states at his time, and he himself was a Democrat.)
2) The second most high paying job, sports, has plenty enough well-payed Black people to make up for our rich, White CEOs (who, being rich, are, in fact, a minority. Yet I’m not espousing putting THEM on welfare.)
