Let’s see…. am I going to jail because I can’t afford a fine….because I can’t afford the insurance premium……and because I refuse to take MEDICAID…..because my county will put a lien on my home for the price of premiums and or medical help.
Will all my friends come and visit me……When I sell my home…..and go live at the jail…with 3 meals a day…..bed, shower, air/heat, play rooms, tv……etc. They probably live better than me…..and they don’t have to worry about losing their home for the price of REAL ESTATE TAXES!!!
OR I could do what they want me to do…..since I’m retired, broke, in pain 24/7, and just taking up space that some illegal wants….I could just hang myself…..and make every one happy!!!

Mr. Obama needs to take his own advice and drop health care for now. Unless he only wants the job for for years. Congress needs to wake up and smell the recession. Employers will not hire anyone until this health care plays out.
I am genuinely torn between wanting Obama to fix the economy by doing some simple free-market capitalist initiatives – but realizing that if he does it, he’s doing it for political purposes to save his own skin. I don’t like a political leader playing with their constituents….and therefore I don’t like Obama.
If he would be clear on holding capital gains taxes, holding income taxes on rich people, and dropping the pro-union approach, then business people would have the confidence to expand which would generate more revenue to the government. Also, the whole business-demonization shtick has got to go.
Bill Clinton was a sh.tty president, but he at least had advisors that told him to drop the leftist cr@p and get things moving….and we ended up with a period of prosperity in spite of Clinton’s socialist leanings.
Can’t Obama figure this out?

Kind of a premonition to hear Obama’s words especially they now apply to him. His worst nightmares have come to fruition. He who backpedaled on campaign promises to insure votes, lied to the American people, Joe the Plumber and Joe Wilson, and failed miserably during the first 12 months of this alleged presidency – what a hoax and shame it is!
This is now undeniable that Obama is not on the same page as the people. There is no question about this. There is also no question that the democrat party is also on a different page. I say this is obvious because of what they are doing with Health Care. The majority of the people are against this health care reform. The majority wants to either scrap it or start over. They want to add the things that will really make a difference. Things such as: Tort Reform, purchasing plans over borders, and so on. We need reform of insurance but the people have another picture that the elitists in DC have never cared to look at.
In addition look at Obama’s polls, this is more evidence that the majority of Americans are awake and aware of what Obama is doing and they don’t like it. Only 30% of America would vote for him if given the option today. His polls with four different sources all claim he has around 46% approval and almost every single one says he has less than 50% approval. What other proof do you need. These are snap shots of what the people want and Obama you need to be listening.
In addition our economy is just getting worse, commercial bubble is about to blow, the real unemployment is at 22%, and the foreclosures haven’t peaked yet. What more evidence do you need?

When indecipherable 2,000 page bills are passed in the middle of the night.
When our representatives lie to us regarding the costs.
When with straight face we’re told we’ll somehow save money by covering 30 million more people. And that the quality of care will improve.
When they mislead us about whether it will cover abortion. Or illegal immigrants.
When “The People” are ignored, and worse, condemned for dissenting.
When our own President tells us to shut up and sit down.
When we’re told that we don’t know what’s best for us.
When they ram socialized medicine down our throats.
THEN WE REVOLT.
