I watched ABC News with Diane Sawyer tonight. She covered this and tried to blame it on "Global Warming".

Chernobyl is a textbook example of all the failures of communism illustrated in one disaster.
Make no mistake about it – Chernobyl is by far the WORST MAN MADE ENVIROMENTAL DISASTER of all time.
Domestic U.S. nuclear plants are 99.99999 trouble free COMPARED to this mess – yet we as a country still won't do what EVEN the freakin' French have figured out – building NEW nuclear energy plants and BEGIN actually WORKING toward REAL energy independence from EVIL ENEMY or potential enemy countries like Red Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Lybia, etc…

I never thought that I would see the day where Russia cares more for her People than the USA. Russia is saving their grain to feed their ppl, Russia asks the ppl to wear masks for air quality. While back here in the good ol USA , the media and the administration allow toxins to be sprayed all over the gulf to save cleanup money and hide the oil. They ignore the cries of people whos children break out in rashes, and find it hard to breath in the Gulf area. Mrs. Prez in a failing economy at home, spends her money and the taxpayer money in Spain instead of area's in the USA that are failing. They sold our national reserve grain to China. Our leadership fails us. We sure did get the 'Change' Obama promised.

The Gulf will heal itself and all though millions of barrels of oil spilled, the Gulf is a huge body of water in comparison, and the marshlands and estuaries are badly damaged but will (hopefully) heal soon enough.
