AMEN! I was listening to Fox's Special Report on Wed online and the panel exemplified the Ruling Class of the Left and Right Media, except for Brett. I tuned in a little late and I didn't get the names of two men who joined Charles Krauthammer. But I could tell they all had similar pedigrees to Charles, if you get my drift, and one of them was a particularly snooty elite, even more than Charles, and he actually said something about how the 'smart people will read it and get it'. That attitude was pervasive throughtout and at one point all three started ripping Palin apart and the snootiest of them compared her to Shirley Sherrod in terms of Palin being greedy for money like Sherrod and that's why Palin has attached herself to the t-party. I couldn't believe what I was hearing and I saw how some on Fox News are part of that ruling class in the media and when push comes to shove, they always show where they really stand and that's with Obama. I think they revealed who they really are because they were all trying to compete with each other.
This is interesting, those in the Tea Party and Conservatives everywhere are attacking Republicans, and most of the attacks are well warranted. Attackers include Palin. I don't deny Rush's contributions to the conservative movement, but lately it seems he has been a step or 2 behind on certain things like recognizing the history and scope of the progressive movement or his disdain for even the notion of creating a viable 3rd party. It was getting so bad that I had to start tuning him out because he just wasn't getting it. He was putting party first and political philosophy second and in my mind that just doesn't work. In the last couple of weeks though it looks like he has finally started to get the message and seems to be back on track. If you don't put political philosophy first, then party is irrelevant. Glenn figured that out years ago, that's why he has the following he does. With Rush finally on board hopefully the right can start putting out a more unified message.

Rush uses words and ideas that are much too complicated for most people, Democrats and Republicans, to understand. Most politicians know that votes come from uncomplicated dweebs who lack the capacity for logic. Give them what they need.
It's the country club, phoney, inside the Washington beltway, tax and spend Republicans that brought us to the point that the nation voted in a hustler like Obama.
We the people are tired of these RINOs clinging to the coat tails of real conservative, Constitution abiding Republicans. Enough is enough!

I been listening to Rush since he started (KFI 640 AM -Los Angeles). Rush is a true conservative ala Barry Goldwater, Ronald Reagan. I was dying earlier this year when he was in hospital, how could you listen to radio with no Rush? Thumbs up to you.
