Obama had an opportunity to finally do the right thing by turning down the prize, which he himself admitted was not deserved. But, yet again, he failed. If he had respectfully declined this award, either based upon his lack of accomplishments, or on the fact that the Nobel committee has become a partisan tool in the last couple decades, he would have gained a great deal of respect and accolades from friend and foe alike. Too bad. This man is so incredibly weak. “I haven’t earned it, but I’ll take it anyway.” A fine lesson.

A brief history of democrats relationship to blacks.
1) For decades democrats were involved in the KKK and lyn-ched around 3400 blacks. They also lyn-ched 1400 white conservatives for helping blacks.
2) Around 1956 there was a large enough change in the USA that defending blacks had become so widespread, due primarily to republicans, that the democrats realized that they needed to take a different tact.
3) The tact they took was best summed up in LBJ’s own words in 1956 “the neg-roes are getting uppity. But they also are growing in political sway. So we need to give them something. Not enough to make a difference but enough to keep them quiet.” This is the great dem civil rights hero explaining why the dems now pander to blacks (for votes, nothing more, nothing less. LBJ considered blacks were just “uppity ne-groes”
4) Come 1964 the last major civil rights bill was up for voting. Democrats voted against it by 18% more than republicans did. 80% of republicans were in favor of the last big civil rights bill. LBJ and other democrats voted for it in order to start their pandering to the black scheme, in order to “keep them quiet”
5) Around this same time democrats had to start spreading the lie that republicans hated blacks. This went along with the dem scheme of tricking blacks into being quiet and voting for democrats now.
6) This scheme is pretty much the same scheme democrats use today. And if you are black and dare wander off of the democrat planation then you are called an oreo and an uncle tom and all other manner of vile racist things. Because democrats never stopped being racists, they just handle the plantation ownership differently. But the blacks still work for the mostly white democrats.

The award of this year’s Nobel peace prize to President Obama will be met with widespread incredulity, consternation in many capitals and probably deep embarrassment by the President himself.
Rarely has an award had such an obvious political and partisan intent. It was clearly seen by the Norwegian Nobel committee as a way of expressing European gratitude for an end to the Bush Administration, approval for the election of America’s first black president and hope that Washington will honour its promise to re-engage with the world.
Instead, the prize risks looking preposterous in its claims, patronising in its intentions and demeaning in its attempt to build up a man who has barely begun his period in office, let alone achieved any tangible outcome for peace.
The pretext for the prize was Mr Obama’s decision to “strengthen international diplomacy and co-operation between peoples”. Many people will point out that, while the President has indeed promised to “reset” relations with Russia and offer a fresh start to relations with the Muslim world, there is little so far to show for his fine words.
East-West relations are little better than they were six months ago, and any change is probably due largely to the global economic downturn; and America’s vaunted determination to re-engage with the Muslim world has failed to make any concrete progress towards ending the conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
There is a further irony in offering a peace prize to a president whose principal preoccupation at the moment is when and how to expand the war in Afghanistan.
The spectacle of Mr Obama mounting the podium in Oslo to accept a prize that once went to Nelson Mandela, Aung San Suu Kyi and Mother Theresa would be all the more absurd if it follows a White House decision to send up to 40,000 more US troops to Afghanistan. However just such a war may be deemed in Western eyes, Muslims would not be the only group to complain that peace is hardly compatible with an escalation in hostilities.
The Nobel committee has made controversial awards before. Some have appeared to reward hope rather than achievement: the 1976 prize for the two peace campaigners in Northern Ireland, Betty Williams and Mairead Corrigan, was clearly intended to send a signal to the two battling communities in Ulster. But the political influence of the two winners turned out, sadly, to be negligible.
In the Middle East, the award to Menachem Begin of Israel and Anwar Sadat of Egypt in 1978 also looks, in retrospect, as naive as the later award to Yassir Arafat, Shimon Peres and Yitzhak Rabin — although it could be argued that both the Camp David and Oslo accords, while not bringing peace, were at least attempts to break the deadlock.
Mr Obama’s prize is more likely, however, to be compared with the most contentious prize of all: the 1973 prize to Henry Kissinger and Le Duc Tho for their negotiations to end the Vietnam war. Dr Kissinger was branded a warmonger for his support for the bombing campaign in Cambodia; and the Vietnamese negotiator was subsequently seen as a liar whose government never intended to honour a peace deal but was waiting for the moment to attack South Vietnam.
Mr Obama becomes the third sitting US President to receive the prize. The committee said today that he had “captured the world’s attention”. It is certainly true that his energy and aspirations have dazzled many of his supporters. Sadly, it seems they have so bedazzled the Norwegians that they can no longer separate hopes from achievement. The achievements of all previous winners have been diminished.
The Nobel peace prize has officially become meaningless. A do-nothing liberal joker just “won” it. Wow!
At least he’ll be a one-and-done president. Palin will give him a smack-down in 2012!

Hey, I didn’t know the Nobel prize had an affirmative action program.
When my daughter was in the fifth grade, the students had to write an essay of what America meant to them. She competed against many other schools. After reading her essay, which the rules stated, must be done strictly on her own, I, her idiot father, convinced her, after much debate, to change one sentence in the essay. Reluctantly she did. She won the essay contest. When called up to accept the award, in front of the other students and teachers, my daughter quietly and graciously declined the award and explained that I had helped her. After my initial shock, I realized what a great person this kid was. I’m sorry, but I can’t seem to say the same for President Obama. I don’t want my child to follow in his example. After all, doesn’t a honorable and great leader….lead by example?

Because of his British father, and dual citizenship, Obama was not, is not, and never will be a “natural born citizen” of the United States. His birthplace is meaningless when it comes to his eligibility.
James Madison wrote the Constitution and used “natural born citizen” to refer to a person born to a US citizen mother and US citizen father. The class of “native-born” citizen was not established until the 15th amendment, and it did not amend Article II.
Vattel’s Law of Nations also holds “natural born” as requiring two citizen parents and born on US soil.
The American Law Review reported on citizenship in the Sep/Oct 1884 issue. Page two of the report states that “natural born” citizenship is the result of being born to TWO CITIZEN PARENTS!
