Rush Limbaugh Interested in St. Louis Rams

AP: The lowly Rams have someone who loves them. Conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh said Tuesday he is teaming up with St. Louis Blues owner Dave Checketts in a bid to buy the Rams, owners of the NFL's longest losing streak at 14 and just 5-31 since 2007. In a statement, Limbaugh declined to discuss details, citing a confidentiality agreement with Goldman Sachs, the investment firm hired by the family of former Rams owner Georgia Frontiere to review assets of her estate, including the NFL team.

I wonder if he’ll try to make whites and blacks fly on separate planes to the games.

JohnB   October 6th, 2009 - 7:17 pm

Any chance he’ll move them back to L.A. where they belong?

Jealous.

These guys are dirt.

WTF??   October 6th, 2009 - 7:52 pm

Wonder how he’ll handle the players union? Would Glen Beck be the head coach? Sarah Palin head chearleader? (grin – dirty knees you know)). Easy to figure out their game plan, they’ll always throw and run to the right. A no brainer and total failure! Too freakn funny!

Rush would make the team number 1 with wish mere presence, as the Maja Rushie is an inspiration that lifts all around him.

BTW, if any of you haters had ever listened to Rush, you would know of his extensive knowledge re the NFL.
Racerx, your just a fool who could never sight an example of the racism you accuse Rush of, you are obviously afraid to actually listen to his show.
Pity, you might learn something about freedom and capitalism, and the greatness of America.

Hey John….the Rams were originally from Cleveland…..Tell you what….howzs about we send the Browns to L.A…….can’t take them anymore……and please let us have back the Rams……we need a football team so desperately…..we haven’t had a winning team since 1964…..ever since Modell fired Paul Brown(the father of football)……this town been jinxed

Huh?   October 6th, 2009 - 9:47 pm

Rush Limbaugh will have an all white conservative team. No players will want to play for or against that team. It is a publicity nightmare I am sure they will not leave that team in his hands.

Ron Reale-HEAR HEAR! These idiots posting have absolutely no idea of who Maja Rushdie is, how he stimulates listeners and of course his knowledge of the NFL games and their players. I can only imagine Rush pep talking to the team to victory!!! These jealous imbeciles are just parroting something they heard about Rush without even knowing anything about the man.

I live in St. Louis, and watching the Rams for the past couple seasons has been like watching the freshman squad playing scout team against the varsity. The 1999 Rams was arguably the most exciting team of all time and their Super Bowl victory remains one of the best games I’ve ever seen. This news has me optimistic about the Rams’ future for the first time in years. St. Louis has the most loyal fans, for any sport, and I hope the team stays here. Oh, and go Cards.

Rush is a die-hard STEELERS FAN. The real question is who he’ll root for if the Rams meet the Steelers in the Super-Bowl again.
