This will go over real big in Florida.
insane old man
time to go to the ranch and retire
Sanctions only hurt the little people. We have been sanctioning Castro for 50 years and he still manages to stay in charge. We sanctioned Saddam Hussein and he was still in full charge while the poor Iraqis starved to death. The poor people of Cuba are ever more impoverished. I don't have any qualms against the people of Cuba we should open up Cuba. Maybe if we were more open with trade and friendship, the folks there wouldn't be so defeated and could have mustered up the courage to remove him. Sanctions have only allowed Castro to consolidate his power.
Yes, since Castro is a bad guy we should punish the Cuban people by cutting them off. That really engenders love among Cubans for America and American ideals (and of course Castro doesn't use that as propaganda against America and capitalism) : / Cuba needs MORE American involvement, not less. When they have a taste of what a free society can offer, they will want more and more in their own land… and that's bad for Castro. Castro LOVES our present policy, it only helps him keep Cubans under his thumb.
exactly.
The real headline is Santorum's response. Santorum stands 100% behind punishing the people of Cuba for not overthrowing the dictator he helps prop up.
This is Ron Paul's famous Predictions speech from April 24, 2002. This is the original video compiling recent images and video to give his speech a chilling effect.
"I have no timetable for these predictions, but just in case, keep them around and look at them in 5-10 years. Let's hope and pray that I'm wrong on all accounts. If so, I will be very pleased. " Ron Paul

Scheuer notes that throughout the Republican primary campaign, Rep. Paul has raised more money from active duty military members than all other candidates combined, including Barack Obama.
Of course…"Pot" Paul does…and maybe we could grow all the pot there that he wants to legalize in America to endanger the young and vulnerable!
HE WILL NEVER…EVER…WIN…AGAIN!
HE COULD NEVER…EVER…WIN…AGAIN!
HE WILL BE A LOSER AND A SPOILER…YET AGAIN!
Tisk, tisk : / How many times will you have to be corrected, Eileen, before you give it up. Ron Paul does not want to legalize pot, he wants to legalize the 10th Amendment. Now, that's about the dozenth time I've corrected you, and I can only imagine others have too, so at this point you must be just dead set on being a lying propagandist. Why must you lie all the time, Eileen? You know, you could actually make your points without resorting to deception, etc. Give it a try, I bet you'll find it refreshing and liberating to your conscience.
p.s. your caps lock button is still stuck.
Lying again…seems to be a habit with you…doesn't it…Bubba George!
As a reminder…Rick Santorum was NOT a senator when this bill was in Congress!
Why would a libertarian icon want his nation to have close friendship ties with an oppressive dictatorship that crushes dissent?

Ron Paul seems to have, like all politicians, selective memory.
He can remember everything that Newt has done wrong.
But he can't remember that Castro had people executed or thrown into prison past the Bay of Pigs.
