I used to like to watch Spacey movies. Now, I won’t look at them in the same light. Perhaps, I won’t even watch them. Hollywood actors make way too much money. There are hundreds of thousands of waiters and taxi-cab drivers that could do just as good of an acting job or better. They are a bunch of spoiled out of touch narcisstic fools.

It seems to me that actors who are very good at playing creeps often turn out to be creeps. Kevin Spacey and Alic Baldwin are a couple of examples. I notice that Allen Alda is very good at creepy roles. You have to wonder.

I’m not a big fan of the way people tend to automatically assume the waiter/waitress is in the wrong. The way this footage was edited I couldn’t blame anyone for thinking that maybe this guy came off as odd or even rude and that perhaps Kevin Spacey had a legitimate right to his anger . . . At first. But wait a minute, this guy seems to have unrealistic casting expectations for his future, you might think, so of course he probably did something to get fired.

But wait-how many restaurants can you still smoke in these days? Even if Kspace frequents restaurants that are smoking establishments, he had to know that smoking was prohibited in that particular restaurant. He was told three times. He was told three times. He was told three times. See what I was doing there? Of course the guy had to resort to trying to humor him into putting the cigarettes out, so you can blame him if his joke bombed.

The person that really dropped the ball was the manager though. He was the one that should have tried to enforce the rules, NOT the server. This should be a story about a manager getting fired but it was easier to use the server as a scapegoat. If the manager had been doing his job Kevin Spacey would have been TOLD once to put the firesticks out and not ASKED three times.
