Some economists put actual unemployment at near 20%. I don’t think unemployment went beyond 25% during the Great Depression. The way these liberal lawmakers are spending money and expelling meaningless gasses and utterances will continue to confound the public until even elections will not satisfy our thirst for change

This was from Ronald Reagan’s 196 Time for Choosing Speech. Just a snip that illustrates government stimulus job creation:
“We’re spending 45 billion dollars on welfare. Now do a little arithmetic, and you’ll find that if we divided the 45 billion dollars up equally among those 9 million poor families, we’d be able to give each family 4,600 dollars a year. And this added to their present income should eliminate poverty. Direct aid to the poor, however, is only running about 600 dollars per family. It would seem that someplace there must be some overhead.”

That’s the point. You put a dollar into the government for it to “help the poor”, and only 25 cents goes to “help the poor”. Because of these incredibly inefficient government jobs, the taxpayer is getting boned!

To G@y Old Party, government programs steal money from taxpayers and lose 75% of it’s value through government inefficiency. Now even a sheep f***ing, sister f***ing hillbilly redneck liberal with limited math skills can recognize that, right?
