According to http://www.americanparchment.com, the House and Senate have both told Stupak that they can’t change it now but they will afterwards. Stupak stood up against them and said “Change it now” before we vote. That is when this conversation most likely happened. Pelosi has now said that she doesn’t need Stupak and his people for the vote, but she doesn’t have the numbers needed. Reid has now said that he will use reconciliation to pass this. ALL CARD ARE ON THE TABLE.
This is just one big lie of many that are finally coming out of the closet….
It is fine Stupak doesnt want citizens to pay for abortion, but how can the putz possibly want the rest of 2700 pages of commiecare????
Than if you believe that Congressman…fight…fight…fight!

They would likely get reelected in their district on that one act of courageous conviction alone. If they don’t…might as well get a real estate license….they are done.

I”ll be thrilled if this bill is canned for any reason and I support his pro-life stance, but the majority of the people are also against this legislation because of its cost and unconstitutionality. As a conservative, I am uncomfortable saying he is “with us” knowing he’d vote “yes” if he got his way with abortion.
What this comes down to is the question of whether we as a Nation want to pay for unborn children to be murdered.
Put another way, do We The People stand as Pro-Life or Anti-Life?
The answer to this question defines us.
Do We The People define ourselves as Pro-Life or as Anti-Life?

WHY NOT START EXPOSING THESE BAD DEEDS **BEFORE** legislation is even voted on, BEFORE IT’S PASSED?
That way, it could not be passed, the public would know what was being attempted and could complain enough to avoid the legislation passing.
Why do we seem to ALWAYS hear all the rotten news exposed AFTER the legislation is passed? Why is it then even passed at all?
I would no more trust ANYthing at this point that was “maneuvered” upon the American public by the likes of Nancy Pelosi or Barack Obama (or both) than I would knowingly drink poison and then go swim with the crocodiles.

Also quite likely why he won’t allow public release of his Illinois Senate voting history (all his work trying funding abortions), but, he IS on record for his extreme “pro abortion” past.
Of course they wanted to sneak abortion in there. Who didn’t know it was in there? That’s how they fund their democratic campaigns, it’s a cash cow business for the democrats.
They also have illegal covered in there, rationing, ID cards, IRS bullying, and racial life expectancy equality which means they will take money from whites to give to black health care until their life expectancy is increased to white (never mind lifestyles, etc.).
