Rep. Grayson: GOP Bad at Government But Good at Stalling

"There's no sign if we do that [start over on health care] that things will ever get any better. There will be more stalling from the republicans, more stalling from the insurance companies. Republicans may not be very good at government but they're good at stalling, " Congressman Alan Grayson said.

Early Cuyler   February 9th, 2010 - 10:02 pm

Who let Grayson out of its cage?

john   February 9th, 2010 - 10:04 pm

This guy dylan is spot on….

The insurance companies are organized criminals….

Who doesn’t know that…

It’s like who doesn’t know that Hollywood is owned lock stock and barrel by the joos….

Employer based health care is like slavery….REALLY…think about how many people cannot quit their jobs

because their masters will stop providing them their medical services….

Greyson is a dork….period.

john   February 9th, 2010 - 10:11 pm

Greyson…STOP CALLING PEOPLE NAMES AND DO THE WORK…

MORON…

Who cares how much the poor drug companies participate…

Stop whining about the republicans…..you gramma….

Greyson… YOU ARE FIRED… IDIOT.

DrEdu   February 9th, 2010 - 10:11 pm

Obama did not need Republicans until recently.
Further, Obama the Hubris, Harry the Dwarf and Stretch Pelosi made sure Republicans were not allowed to participate.

So, if you arrogant dudes think that we Americans are dumb you will have the wake up call of the Millennium next November.

You already have seen the ‘trailers’ for this movie in: Virginia, New Jersey and YES…MASSACHUSSETTS

It is up to you…go down with Obama, or save your political lives by listening to America.

Puck30   February 9th, 2010 - 10:13 pm

This guy is nothing but a novice back-bencher who recklessly wields his new office like a kid that just found his dad’s gun. Only MSNBC would put this joker on television.

Demorat National Socialist party of America   February 9th, 2010 - 11:03 pm

Alan Grayson is a professed Communist if you didn’t know. Also Grayson, don’t even mention Republicans, as Demorats are in the majority. Your National Democratic Socialist party of America can’t get ANY of your radical agenda passed.

Guest   February 9th, 2010 - 11:07 pm

With the dimocrazies having had veto-proof vote margins in both houses, the republicans must be using Alien Technology to stall anything.
Seems to me this moron should be looking into the demoncrat mirror for the real stallers.

huckle   February 9th, 2010 - 11:15 pm

Republicans are inconsequential even with 41 votes in the Senate! The bill has passed both chambers and if the House would just agree to to accept the Senate bill, it could be sent to the White House for a signature to become law. The problem is that they can’t get enough House members to fall on that sword for them. So they squirm, twist, bloviate, and try to blame ANYbody else. I think it is hilarious to watch.

Dolemite   February 9th, 2010 - 11:18 pm

This Grayson has all the markings of a disturbed individual with a great deal of barely repressed rage. I would bet that in a debate or interview if you pushed the right button Grayson could easily be goaded into a violent outburst. How the people in Orlando could have elected such a person to Congress is flabbergasting.

Gorio   February 9th, 2010 - 11:18 pm

Grayson is living proof his parents gene pool is polluted.

Milt   February 9th, 2010 - 11:37 pm

Florida should be ashamed not only for the brain dead voters in 2000 but also for electing this idiot. This Grayson guy is a real piece of work. Lawyers suck the life blood out everything they get their little hands on. I won’t believe in any health care reform until there is TORT REFORM.

dayan33   February 9th, 2010 - 11:49 pm

My aunt, Dr. Andrea Green, is the Chair of the English department at Union College (New Jersey), from which this HACK, DILLON RATIGAN, is a graduate. Even she would make fun of the idiots that she taught. This guy is so bad that it is unbearable. He couldn’t make it on CNBC so they moved him to a lesser-brow MSNBC morning show. Andrea is a die-hard democrat, but even she KNOWS A BLOWHARD IDIOT. TRUST ME.

Mike   February 10th, 2010 - 12:01 am

What an idiot! When are they going to get a clue?

DEF   February 10th, 2010 - 12:13 am

Accuse the accuser to cover the accused!!! Governments intervention in health care has increased the cost of health care, more government interference is supposed to solve the problem?…..Huh….An oxymoron is supposed to make sense!!

SanFranciscoGo   February 10th, 2010 - 12:13 am

Everyone knows by now that competition across state lines for insurance companies and tort reform
would go a long way to solve the majority of the problems with health care Coverage.

Rep. Gingrey was the clear winner here, Ratigan put on a good “devil’s advocate show”, Grayson continues with his
usual statist remarks (as Mark Levin succinctly stated today, there’s all kinds of statists. In regards to Grayson, just take your pick of which kind of statist that you think he is. (By the way, it is good to know that Grayson is exposed to rational thought, since he admitted that he listens to Rush Limbaugh (and probably Hannity and Levin too).

Maybe it is possible that Grayson is actually on our side, he says such irritating and ridiculous things that tend to
galvanize us and undermine “his” socialist democrats. If so, thank you Rep. Grayson, nice job.

Cory   February 10th, 2010 - 1:07 am

So Al you don’t want to deal with the root of the problem because…what?.. the republicans will stall?…and your socialist democrat party had a 2,000 page health bill written with no input allowed by the republican party. Your question should be what new lies can I tell so can I still stay in office.

mg24   February 10th, 2010 - 2:16 am

Can someone tell me how this moron Grayson got elected? Was anyone with a pulse running against him?

i refuse to read anything Grayson... sorry   February 10th, 2010 - 3:18 am

whenever u see this guy’s name in stories, just ignore it.
he’ll soon go away…i can hardly beleive i even typed this.
i refuse to give his opinions any consideration having seen
the content of his thought process about 4 times prior.

FastFacts   February 10th, 2010 - 4:31 am

No one listens to this guys drivel. His district is majority moderates and this is not helping his case. He thinks that the more rhetoric and slander he spouts the more the liberals with donate to his campaign and with that money he can buy his re-election. Sorry Alan, it doesn’t work that way and you will be voted out. Your district is already regretting putting you in power like they did. Don’t worry, your not alone, America is sorry for putting Obama into power also.

Grayson is just your typical lefty hack inbred. This is why marrying your brother or sister is illegal… Apparently his folks were never told that…..

claspur   February 10th, 2010 - 5:33 am

This guy is a moron……Repubs stalling? Stalling what?

The Dems controlled the whole show for over a year, and got diddly-passed.
The reason for that is, Dem senators and congressmen want to keep their jobs after hearing their constituants Bellow at them back in their home states.

I’m convinced that Grayson’s head is packed with clay. He doesn’t make any sense.

PETE GOGALACK   February 10th, 2010 - 6:36 am

I thought that primative Neanderthal men from the paleolithic period were extinct! How is it that this throwback has survived. Maybe he froze back then and recently he was accidentally defrosted in frankenstein’s laboratory.

Hopefully those who voted this jerk into office will have the good sense to elect someone more qualified and personable next November.

4aRepublic   February 10th, 2010 - 6:51 am

The FDA recently announced they will no longer use mice as test subjects and will, instead, use lawyers for the following reasons:
1. There are plenty of them
2. Lab technicians do not become attached to them
3. There are some things a rat will not do.
Grayson is a lawyer.

CHECKERS   February 10th, 2010 - 6:58 am

If the health insurance industry were a monopoly as Motormouth Ratigan asserts, their profit margins would be hugely larger than the 3% they are in reality. Ratigan is biased and needs to learn how to listen.

Seems to me in a debate between a scum sucking trial lawyer who profits from huge medical liability lawsuit awards, and, a medical doctor experienced at working on a daily basis inside our medical care system and seeing the practical challenges and deficiencies, THE CREDIBLE PARTY IN THE DEBATE is THE CONGRESSMAN-DOCTOR!

roger bannister   February 10th, 2010 - 7:04 am

doesn’t this guy need gall bladder surgery?… just saying.

thefedupamerican   February 10th, 2010 - 7:18 am

Grayson isn’t good at anything but playing partisan politics….in a truly obnoxious and offensive way. People of Florida…it is time for Grayson to go. He doesn’t represent you well. http://www.thefedupamerican.com

mojo   February 10th, 2010 - 7:46 am

Dems are in charge and everything they’ve touched has been a disaster — Grayson hasn’t been kicked out of office yet? Can’t hardly wait.

Sam   February 10th, 2010 - 8:46 am

Alan Grayson is a nothing. He doesn’t matter. No one cares about what he has to say. He even loathes himself.

taxcut   February 10th, 2010 - 8:56 am

COngressman Grayson says that 44,000 people died last year because they had no health coverage. Lack of Health Insurance is not listed in the National Vital Statistics Report as a cause of death. There were 2,426,264 Deaths in 2006. How many of those people had private insurance?

realoldpatriot   February 10th, 2010 - 9:01 am

This guy is nothing but a political hack and I love it when he opens his mouth. It just moves more democrats and independents to the right.

JoeKidd   February 10th, 2010 - 9:20 am

To use hiw OWN words against him, maybe this Grayson punk will meet his unfortunate demise…
In other words, maybe he’ll DIE QUICKLY!

robert sargent   February 10th, 2010 - 9:24 am

mr.grayson needs help.he hates the republicans and the country.for the life of me,i hope the people who voted for that man, thinks about it in 2010.

Staged18   February 10th, 2010 - 9:35 am

I actually look forward to seeing Grayson on these videos cause he is so absurd and incompetent. He should be the poster child for what is wrong with Washington. I just can’t believe how moronic he is. He makes me laugh. What else can you do with a guy like that.

BobPDX   February 10th, 2010 - 9:42 am

I think this fool knows he’s out in the next election.

Either that or he is a complete moron.

The Filth that he is…

Buhlz_I   February 10th, 2010 - 9:52 am

Grayson, you dolt, what is it about NO that you do not understand.

We don’t want the people who brought us the post office and DMV to become our health care providers.

Understand that, we the people, are not your lemmings. We have rejected your health plan. There is no “moving forward”.

2112   February 10th, 2010 - 10:16 am

In other words they want the Republicans to just go along with their ideas.

This is like Al Gore proclaiming there is no time to debate the issue of Global Warming, right before he preaches to us about what we need to do and then gets on hhis private plane to jet back home to his mansion.

Stand firm republicans. You have some great ideas for healthcare that are driven by the market and not the government.

Neil   February 11th, 2010 - 12:12 pm

A few months back Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-NY, stated, “Grayson is one french fry short of a Happy Meal.” I think that, that pretty much sums up Alan Grayson.

Groenhagen   February 11th, 2010 - 4:55 pm

What’s up with Grayson’s lisp?

Groenhagen   February 11th, 2010 - 5:02 pm

Wikipedia has Ratigan’s age at just 37. He looks more like 57. Must have done some rough living when he was younger.
