Obama told a group of peace activists last year that he would cancel our “unproven missile defense” system. I wonder is McCain will hammer him on this issue?

That video can’t be real! After all, the liberals claimed that we shouldn’t invest the money for missle defense/star wars technology because it would never work. Yet ANOTHER reason why democrats cannot be trusted with our nation’s security.

People have to understand that the threats to our nation are REAL. This is not a game folks. It’s not like if we lose this Sunday we can play again next weekend. Wake up and take appropriate actions. Keep Obama and company out of office. Get the democrats out of power in congress. Elect leadership that has a strong defense, and strong offense, as their PRIMARY concern.

Don’t fall into the trap of voting for “change”. Change isn’t always for the good. A weakened stance on security won’t help “the way the world perceives us”, it will simply embolden our enemies. Let us not forget how Bill Clinton’s fiasco in Somalia showed the world his cowardice, which unfortunately became the view of our Nation. We lost 18 BRAVE soldiers in vein because we turned tail and RETREATED. Then we continued to show our weakness by allowing the attacks on our embassies in Africa, Kobal Towers, as well as the USS Cole.

Do the right thing. Vote for military strength and support. Your vote counts. Exercise your civic duty – you CAN make a difference.

I wonder if America will ever become regular anymore not like decedent France. Will the country do a 180 against the mexican invasion, the rampant baby snuffing, the hojmoization of everything, the lies of those that control the citizens, the favoritism in hiring that rewards the unqualified?

dswilli   June 6th, 2008 - 10:27 am

Thanks to the foresight of Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush a working missile defense system is within reach. Not having such a system could be a mistake that costs MILLIONS of lives.

dswilli   June 6th, 2008 - 10:28 am

Pathetic thing is people who oppose such a system want to spend trillions to combat the phantom menace global warming.

It wont survive a Obama presidencey. We might not either.

Here is the video of the $1,400,000,000.00 B-2 Stealth that went down in Guam last February! It’s the ’second’ plan to take off for those of you that can’t figure it out :D

Wow Rover interesting, and totally off topic. I know it’s hard for you but try to make your comments relevant.

What a lot of people fail to understand is that a nuke does not have to hit a city to ruin America. A Iranian nuke exploded in the upper atmosphere would destroy most if not all electronics in a good portion of the US. No one would die at least not initially. But the US would be plunged back into the stone age. No refrigeration equals no food. Roaming bands would take what food they could find. Looting on an unseen scale would destroy our cities. Don’t be so anxious to stop our missile defense system. It’s not the costly boondoggle some candidates say it is. All it takes is one nuke fired from a ship in international waters to effectively end America.

The effects of Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) that Double Naught Spy refers to would be effective over a range of approximately one to five miles for a bomb of medium to large size.

TomBrooklyn   June 6th, 2008 - 1:25 pm

Huah!

Double naught spy   June 6th, 2008 - 1:47 pm

Wrong TomBrooklyn, how on earth did you come up with 1-5 miles? Here’s a link educate yourself Huah!

Realize that there are “two” bombs. The ‘fission’ reaction atomic bomb that destroyed Hiroshima has relatively little EMP. You need the big ‘fusion’ reaction devices known as the H-bomb to generate significant EMP such as project StarFish.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagnetic_pulse

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starfish_Prime

Thus the bombs North Korea, Iran, and Iraq (NOT) are known to be working one would be far more effective as direct weapons. Thus you would have to look toward Pakistan, India, or Israel as newer nations that might come up with something. The EMP scenario is more suited to an exchange with Russia to assure total destruction.

There is also a significant altitude requirement of say 500km. Russia, China, France, Japan, etc. have the significant technology needed for that. It would be ‘difficult’ for say Iran to do that from a fishing boat. There is also a problem with aiming and proper placement, but if they can do the rest, they can do that easily.

The question that is important is during a crisis, would the relatively simple minded, if not simply ignorant, John McCain would be able to assimilate such information and make the right decision. Or, would he ignore the facts and information like he did in 1967 and take us all down with him this time.

When Obama gets in office, all of this “male testosterone” stuff will be shutdown and funds will be moved from the destructive military to after school programs to feed our starving children. We will disband the military and provide free health care, room and board for all of our people and for many people of the world. Without a military, we will finally be loved again. No more war! No more terrorism! Utopia for all because of Democrats!
